My order went through at 3:10pm yesterday, so I just did exactly the same. I have a 2080 Super and the only reason I wanted a 3080 was HDMI 2.1 support. I'd rather give 40 quid to Club3D for their flaky DP1.4 adaptor.
Now looking at AMD and Big Navi...

Jesus I am tempted to buy one off ebay. Some are going for about £850 now I know thats more that I paid and I dont concider these being too greedy as by the time they pay eBay and Paypal fees (13%) the have not exactly made much. I relise this is currently a jerk reaction to my email from OC
 
Kinda funny to think how quickly Nvidia have undone all the insane goodwill and hype they mustered. Im sure the dust will settle once people start getting cards in their hands

its just the incompetence that gets me....

I've spend tens of thousands with OCUK but when they don't invest in the right level of systems for a company of there size its dissapointing.

Even SCAN had a que! (and i've never liked them)

I genuinely don’t think i’ll be able to put my first build together before 2021 at this rate, haha. Should have stuck to console land. One site says all preorder cards are 30th Nov... which is probably an optimistic guess. I’m not preordering something when the money is taken instantly and retailers have no idea when they will actually have stock. What a farce.
