They will.I've got my eye on the Palit 3080 OC model. Will only pay the price shown on site now if it's price gouged I'm looking elsewhere. Would be a sweet card for 1440p 144hz freesync monitor.
I don’t think official prices will be announced until the 17th, which is a bit of a joke. I’m 100% waiting for reviews. This is way too fishy for me to chuck £700 in a card unsighted. It seems to be a big secrecy act to release any info this time, only OCUK even have prices up which seem to be changing daily so I find pointless.
Do these companies not hedge their currency? Crazy. They will.
I said many times there will be not a single card under 700 due to their greed and **** GBP to $ conversion.
That is my back up option, although i want a CPU air cooler not an AIO as i’m paranoid asf about leaks ruining a £700 GPU...Just buy FE then. Simple. Dont pay more than you need to. FE is £650 no gouging. best looking card too!
A couple of his more relevant/notable posts are....Must have missed it or it was a while ago, cheers.
Another price increase
PNY 3080 50quid more than yesterday.
Well done OC well done

I’m waiting for Zen 3 anyway, so will be missing the first wave of cards. This is my first build, so i want to be patient and have the most info available so i can make good decisions! £700 is definitely my limit thiugh. No point spending above that. That's my limit too if I was interested after tomorrow, supposedly it's expensive to make the reference cooler so why are prices rising already on AIBs.

Makes you wonder how are prices changing if supposedly they already have stock, makes no sense other than retailers cashing in.
But if they already have stock chances are the buy price OCUK pay has been fixed already? Any fluctuations in the exchange rate shouldn’t affect any cards already paid for. Therefore it’s price gouging.Prices always go up due to either the GB to $ or supply and demand. Its everyones fault on here for pushing up the prices talking about it so much and wanting one and asking questions. If everyone had said they were waiting for AMD and waiting prices would have not gone up. (this is a joke) wouldnt be surprised if Nvidia stick another £50 on the FE at launch.

Tell me about it! I was going to get the Series X, but am sick of 30fps games, so time to build a PC. Current build is at around £2.3k.... Trying to keep somewhat of a lid on things.Definitely have to set limits when it's a full build, it soon mounts up!
£700 is ridiculous as it is to be fair it's why a lot just give up and get a console.

Agree. Definitely price gouging. I suppose it is be expected for the first wave of cards though? But if they already have stock chances are the buy price OCUK pay has been fixed already? Any fluctuations in the exchange rate shouldn’t affect any cards already paid for. Therefore it’s price gouging.
