Let's not let the cat out of the bag and be silly. The sensible price is £799 not a penny more!In that case if it costs more than a tenner i'm out.

Don't exaggerate... an after market card doesn't add 50%+.if the FE 20gb is going to be 1k...top after market cards are going to be closer to the price of a 3090.
Im not exaggerating though. I mean the top ASUS and Gigabyte 3080 cards are currenlty £930.. and thats £30 more then it was at launch that you could only preorder those top end cards. A 3080 FE is £530. and a normal aftermarket low model is 750 now..pritty sure they were 650 at launch. so if it is priced at £1000-£1100 for a 20gb thats £400 more for a top aftermarket card on top of that, and that is pretty much if not the price of a 3090 FEDon't exaggerate... an after market card doesn't add 50%+.
not sure about some of those prices you quotedIm not exaggerating though. The 3080 FE was £650 at launch and the regular AIB's are generally 10-20% more unless there is a real scalping supply and demand markup. ASUS ROG Strix and the top Gigabyte Auros etc are just ripoff cards designed to pull in the mugs.Im not exaggerating though. Looks like I'm playing Cyberpunk 2077 on my 1080ti... the card that just refuses to die lol.
. Nvidia have already scrapped the idea of a 20gb card in confirmed leaks
You are correct and kazuya is wrong.I thought they'd only scrapped a 20 GB version of the 3080, not a 20 GB 3080 Ti / Super. And remember, plans can change.
Nvidia just needs to kill the 3090 and replace it with the 3080 Ti that provides the same performance for 50% less cost. The 3090 should never have been sold as a gamers card. The top line up is going to look pretty comical once this releases. It will be 60 FPS on the 3080 vs around 65 on the Ti vs 70 on the 3090 at 4K. At 1440p, the difference would further narrow. NVIDIA should just swallow it’s pride and cut 3090 prices instead of messing up it’s top end line up like this.
Just out of interest where did you see this info or is it your own personal opinion?NVIDIA is haemorrhaging back orders.
Well, this may sound crazzzyyyyy but sometimes (often, actually) people post thoughts based on actual information they have seen and read and just because Nvidia would not release those statistics does not mean other media sources wouldn't (most of the juicy info obviously does not come from official sources).Everything I post is of my own personal opinion.
Like most things it is conjecture based on what I have seen, heard and experienced.
You know and well as I do they would never release such statistics.
