NVIDIA RTX 50 SERIES - (PRE)ORDER DISCUSSION **NO COMPETITOR HINTING**

Haha made me laugh the last few comments :D

Talking about our queue position gives us hope and to quote a great film : Hope is a good thing, maybe the best of things, and no good thing ever dies.” - Andy Dufresne, Shawshank Redemption.

Yeah well that because getting out of prison is more likely in this lifetime then getting a 5090....

Hmmm... that competitor is saying "30 April" for new Palit Gamerock non-OC pre-orders. I'm 35 in the queue for that one, with an ETA of 30 March. I know there are people here with positions in that queue over 100.

So either they're more optimistic on supplies of that card than the ETAs in the current queue let on, or they expect a huge torrent of cards in April... or maybe they're just ************ people who pre-order now. I'll hope for the first of those, but as ever... hope is the first step on the road to disappointment.

those are jsut eta, remember on first day eta was 4-7 Feb, then they changed to 2-12 weeks then due 30 May.
They must know some card is coming on Apr/May so they open up for more pre-order to grab as many interest free loan from us.
Those interest free cash then go to stock 5070ti and 5070. If they cannot fulfill 5090 pre-order, you are still on the line and cash is still with them.

I do get the "interest free loan" point, but the interest on the money I paid would do well, by the end of March, to pay for a coffee. And I'm talking Greggs coffee here, not some fancy Starbucks.

Just jumped on a pre-order for the Palit RTX 5090 GAMEROCK myself. was hoping for a FE but guess thats a non-starter

The lack of any msi news from the other site is extreamly annoying. How can you possibly have no clue when your getting your next stock in from them :( hopefully we get some news next week

Seems they are shifting a lot of the zotac but as it's one of the cheapest ones no surprise... saying over 108 buying, even the Astral LC at £3000 is up in the 75 buying ... they must be expecting some stock if they have reopened preorder.

Well I assume they got cancellations so filling up the queues again. Gotta get that free interest money.

Well I preordered from the other site for the white Gigabyte Master Ice 5090, not happy that its £200 over the rrp price and not happy they took the money straight away but its the first time I've seen that card available.

Yep, which is why it's nefarious taking the full money for the GPU when preordeing, they should take a deposit instead like some other industries do

And obviously, it won't be seen as bad as scalping or rising prices but the profit/revenue from just putting that cash in the bank could be similar

Man if they're going to october you're probably looking at almost £100 in interest for some of these cards...
