Yup you could get 1000W VBIOS for them. Maybe Nvidia blocked the VBIOS power modding on the 50 series, time will tell, once one company makes one with 2 x these fire risk connectors on them and a VBIOS leaks out.

That Korean review site also showed the RTX4000 series upsell.
Basically what was the RTX3060TI replacements have been rebranded as the RTX4070TI and RTX5080 the last two generations.

Oh dear... what a fail... it's better (or at least quieter) with the 4th fan totally disabled (rather than reducing the RPM)?
why not just remove the fan
if the fan is off and not removed, then all it does is block airflow
I would pay 2 cents for it as it is now worthless with his signature on it..

Ended up being able to pick up a 5080 gaming trio today, so have that to look forward to over the weekend (whenever it decides to turn up) as I disassemble the old WC loop and retire the 5800X.
Not ideal price / perf but beggars can't be choosers and it's a huge uplift over the 6900XT. I'm looking forward to playing Indiana Jones next week

Yup I remember that fail sadly for him as it would have been a good thing for him and his family.
Sadly stopped watching his site a while ago now as it became terrible over time, he was better when he started out and had real passion and real points of view before the free/sponsored goods landed his way and then he became more of a marketing guy for these companies and still is now and also the people he added to his channel are rubbish and destroy reviews.
Jay is ok by me and I know he has a family and trying his best with what he has, but I really think he should go back more to how he was and not turn into Linus if you know what I mean... as sadly Linus was also better before and now nothing but spam/clickbait/marketing content and you can see the $$$$$ signs in his eyes all the time now and the never ending greed.
Anyways .. I don't like seeing people failing at what they are passionate about, but the passion for what they do has long gone with most of them and all about the money now, they are all becoming clones and the same channels just with different company sponsored marketing targetted at you all the time.
HUB as an example is heavily MSI sponsored ..
Digital Foundry - heavily Nvidia and Sony...
And so on... I'm sure you have seen what I mean and many of us here over the years and from the start of YouTube and their channels. The site (YouTube) was full of enthusiasts when it started and now it is full of influencers.. and that is the problem now and nothing but a site that is pure advertising in the many ways now, unless you hunt down them gems still on there.

I've kept my 3090 for 4 years
Yes if it sells poorly and the chip has lots of room left in it to be enabled from the 5090, also room for a 5080Ti on the same chip as the 5090. But we will see ... Nvidia remember... Till it hurts them in the pocket then they will react.

And imho waterblocks looked good, shame they were out of stock when i was buying WC parts for my pc

Someone on the bidding site is trying to sell a picture of a 5090 for over 2.4k....Although it clearly states its a picture and is aimed at the bots . I dont think they will get anywhere.
