O11D EVO XL

I messaged EK about incompatibility with 360mm rads on the front plate and they said this

“ Thank you for reaching out to EK support.

The radiators mentioned in the description are the maximum radiator size, If you want you can use smaller 360mm radiators and the connections can still be made using the same Matrix7 platform and fittings. ”

Don't get how this makes sense

I decided to go for it in the end. Going to deck it out with 140mm Bequiet fans. Does it come it any kind of Fan/Argb hub? Wonder what one would fit in the XL best. Ideally would like to keep 6 Sata SSD slots free.

It appears the HD Audio cable is too short in reverse so Lian Li are selling extensions for 1p +delivery. Strange how something like this gets missed, but at least they are sorting it.

I'm sure I saw it mentioned on their product page that it if you don't get an extension in the box (implying that the extension wasn't added to the first units, but will be later), that you can contact them for one, or buy from their AliExpress store. As they mentioned about contacting them for it, I would take that as implication that they'll send it FOC, but even so, the £4 or so for the extension cable doesn't seem too ridiculous.

Check your glass, my box was perfect...

Also had a screw cut in half that needs replacing.

Can someone check the main glass panel, the two black pegs that insert into the case are they both at an angle inwards? I think they are meant to be like this but just double checking before I message Lian Li.

Is a bit huge!

Mine arrived today, here it is next to my Phanteks Enthoo EvolvX.

So amazing to have a removable motherboard tray again - I love building a system outside the case. Not had one since the Coolermaster ATCS days, many years ago :D

Have you built in yours yet mate? I'd just check the bottom side bit of glass on yours. That's where my chips/were and from that photo looks like you have the same but could be just the plastic on the edges making it look like that.

This is the best pic I could take of one side of my glass as my camera didn't want to focus on the pegs. Hopefully it shows the peg at right angles to the glass

Hi. Thanks for that. I actually meant the bottom of that window, the metal pegs that lock into the case at the bottom. I have no issues with it, so presume they are meant to curve inwards. :)

When you take off the support column and the windows, does your top corner bow down about half a cm? Looked on YouTube and looks like it does on there's too. It's not as rigid as the NV7 at the top for sure, but that been said it's substantially wider. When the windows or the support bracket is in place it locks it solid flush.

So far build looks amazing. I was in doubt because I'm going for all air (6 140mm in, 3 120mm out). Going to wait for Tuesday to be able to show pics as got a fan hub coming today and the 120mm fans coming Monday. :)

Ah sorry I misunderstood. Just looked at the two plates at the bottom of the main glass that lock into the case. Mine are angled outwards ie towards the face of the glass that has the plastic covering on it. I haven't built in mine yet as I'm still gathering the parts together. Going to attempt a custom water loop in it!

I also haven't removed the support column on the corner at all yet. The reviews I watched said probably best to do that once the build is complete as the top corner will sag without it in place under the weight of radiators or fans.

Thanks yeah that's a good idea actually as even with out as in mine it sags half a cm with nothing. That been said I suppose with a radiator or something with you probably reinforce the weak corner with the other three points locked in. So without anything is probably the most it would sag.

The graphics card holder is good but definitely feels like the Strix is the absolute limit for how think a card can be. It is on mine but the GPU slot on my x670e Carbon WiFi is pretty low down so your millage may vary.

Not built mine yet, I'm away on holiday now so just had time to do a quick unboxing. It's the plastic film you can see curled over in the bottom of my picture, glass underneath is fine. Thanks for heads up though :D

Lian Li emailed me today they are sending me out a new front glass panel and new support pillar... mine was slightly bent. 18-22 days though lol. They could have at least apologised for the inconvenience but nope.. slightly odd.
