Guys

Beat the traffic until 2 miles from home so not bad, but I noticed my coolant temperature approaching the red when stopping in traffic again, did surprise me it was getting hot on track as its always being a super cool running car.
So got home bonnet up and well my main radiator cooling fan and only fan has either failed or is not getting power. Simple easy fix, can't see the fan has failed and more likely a wire or the switch that turns it on and off.

Got a few videos, here is one of the Mustang:

Big thanks to Kosta for organising, I went expecting not much but I actually really enjoyed it and the M3 felt right at home, great fun! :)

Good day out, gutted the car threw in the towel just as the weather was getting nice but hey worse things have happened.
Special thanks to Kosta for putting it on, Housey the the generous lunch and Gibbo for the lift to get bodge tape :)

Thanks for organising again. Nice to have the car home in one piece as well! Count me straight in at any other ones.

@Gibbo Your disks you may have accidentally forgot are now in stoke in the boot of my car. Give me a shout where you want them.

Thanks man, could you drop them off at OcUK do you think at some point this week? Or if you work in Stoke I can come grab them on a lunch break as want to try fitting them when I get alignment done to see if they will fit. :)

No problem, I'll drop them off tomorrow around 2:15ish on my way home from work mate.

Just got back.

Thanks again for organising Kosta (and slightly unwilling giving me a passenger ride in my own car) and Housey then gent for sorting us all with lunch.

All in all I had a great day, turns out the MX5 is far more capable than I've ever actually given it credit for

Right, not long home myself now.

I went and took extra monies out of from the Co-Op by the owner's house. He wasn't home so I couldn't explain why no signatures on the form, never mind. Like a numpty I got 20min away and realised I gave him the money but not the keys :D So back I went!

Some thoughts from today:

Clarkey - you can drift, boy can you drift. It was fantastic to watch, much more interesting to me than seeing it done at the bigger tracks. Fair play to you sir.
Frozennova - the MX5 was ace. You need nothing more than an LSD and that car will be even better around there. The way you were hustling it in the wet was very impressive! And you were brave letting me/forcing me to have a go!
Housey - already said it, but lunch, thank you very much. I'm certain everyone there was grateful.

Everyone else, thank you all for helping sure the day ran well, for making the most of the weather and having a go and having a laugh doing so. Also thanks to those who ensured everything stayed tidy and left us at the end with very little to do :)

Now my car ! Once it got dry and I got to push, I was not let down. The reason I bought this car vs an older STi became very apparent with the way it felt and handled. I was loving it and I am loving my exhaust setup! In the wet I was surprisingly not as confident as I'd thought I'd be. Tyres and throttle map may be the reason for that but I was definitely not pushing it in the wet like I did my old one. I felt like it wanted to go sideways too easily, but it doesn't help that full boost is achieved at very little throttle in Sport mode. Throttle map tuning will need to take place.

Looking forward to all the videos and pictures :)

Just got home.

Superb day, so glad I got the day off work in the end.

Can only echo what people have already said... thanks for lunch Housey, thanks for organising Kosta and great drifting (but not drifting as to keep to the rules) Clarkey!

Great to see familiar faces and meet new people. Lots of great cars, lots of great people and lots of fun. It rained heavily on the way home so that got rid of most of the grass up the sides of my car :D

Just started looking through the videos and photos... hopefully there are some good pics in there!

Thanks also to Gibbo for the passenger ride in the M3. That is one hell of a machine, my neck was aching by the end of the run.
