How overdue is too overdue for the big 12 month vaccinations?

No idea but I'd be banging at thier door!

We got fobbed of by staff in the hospital and our doctor when it came to our little one having an inguinal hernia, we phoned up and took her to hospital every second as she was in constant pain, they eventually caved in.

Arses they were, don't let them fob you off

Anyone got any tips for settling a newborn? She's 8 days old and going through the standard wake/eat/poop/sleep every 4ish hours.

However about 50% of the time she cries when she's put back down for a sleep, if we pick her up and hold her she'll fall asleep within a few minutes. When she's back down in her cot/basket she'll start crying again.

Any ideas? I'm assuming this is normal and it doesn't bother me too much as she's a new born, but I'd be worried if we kept doing this as she gets older and becomes dependant on this?

They cry because they "wake up" not where they fell to sleep. Pay a sleep trainer; holding them to get them to sleep isn't "correct".

Sounds like wind to me.

Could be many things, just hang in there.
My son had awful reflux as well as colic/trapped wind. Took a little while to get to grips with.

Agree with comments above, its too early to be worried about that imo, first 2 weeks was literally survival before it started getting better

Wind was a big issue for us, I became the designated expert burper and once we realised he was getting wind a lot, it got much better

It’s amazing the difference between a winded and non winded baby. My boy screams if he’s on his back and still has wind.

So, we had a situation last night where our almost 2 year old jammed her leg through the bars on her Mamas & Papas Atlas cotbed, and the only way I had to free her, seeing how distressed she was was to snap the bar. Luckily she was unhurt, but in the wake of this we’ve decided that now’s the time to convert it to a toddler bed.

The problem we have is that having taken the sides off the bed, she can now roll off the bed onto the floor, so we need something to prevent this. We do have a fold down bed rail on the bed in the guest room (a standard double), but this wouldn’t be suitable for the cot bed, as it needs a minimum width of 75cm to anchor properly, while the cot bed is only 70cm across, and it seems like a lot on sale are the same. Has anyone faced this same problem?

I recently saw this when browsing but not sure if it’ll fit a cot:

Never been so stressed, our 4 and 6 year old have been a nightmare for sleep over the last few months, most of the time it's our little boy (6 year old) that just does not sleep no matter what we do or say to him and sometimes is still messing us around at 9.30 - 10pm... This stresses my wife out so then I stress.... I'm currently sat on the landing waiting for them to sleep, it's not the heat as there is a lovely breeze blowing around upstairs...

Any suggestions, only legal stuff please

my son currently 5 was terrible for getting to sleep, we eventually resorted to bribery. he started collecting football trading cards so we now use them as bribery for him to have good sleep. i still have to be in the room with him but he gets to sleep 9-9.15ish and usually sleeps through bar a trip to the toilet.

it also helps to tire them out in the day

Yeah that's a good shout I might start collecting the stickers or cards with him, we tried knackering them out today, been having a kick around then out on their bikes to the shop but that's clearly not enough in this heat for them

Make that 4 cancellations.

I've just contacted the partnership and gave them a complaint and said if the next appointment isn't met, I'll be making a serious formal complaint against them.
