Site is like lightening here now, time will tell when it hits 3pm
re routed power to the shields
site is now back up
I'm sure lots of techies have been looking into this for you, but is it definitely a DDoS attack?
We have a couple of dedicated servers and suffered a similar problem a couple of months back, with our sites randomly (every few days) going slower and slower in a short space of time before becoming uncontactable. The host tried to fob us off saying it was a DDoS attack, but eventually after looking at the logs properly it turned out to be a buggy bit of jQuery that was causing constant HTTP GET requests on the server. We disabled the script and never had an issue since.
As I say, I'm sure you're probably right, but we spent ages trying to think who the hell would have the money and inclination to launch a DDoS attack on one of our clients and turned out to be perfectly innocent.
captin the inertial dampers are offline we cannot go to warp !!!

Definately 4 lines here
And what does post count have to do with it ?
I've dealt with Customer Support and they were absolutely fantastic. I seem to remember someone in the comments saying that he'd not seen a bad review for this site since 2005. Seems to me that every bad customer OcUk has ever had has taken time out of their (busy?) schedules to comment on the article and say the attack was deserved. I bought some faulty goods from a competitor site once, don't think i'd wish anything on them though as (shock horror) companies do make mistakes. Toys and prams if you ask me.
Love the comments about how the employees drive nice cars. I guess some people are jealous that their job doesn't pay well.
Edit:- I too am very supprised at all the moaners, moaning about OcUK!
Resistance is futile, they will adapt, they have adapted. We need to re modulate shields but they adapt too fast
Dilithium crystals charged, warp drives engaged, steady at warp factor 9!
