OcUK DDoS attack - £10,000 reward

I hope you will understand that we cannot divulge any information regarding whether attacks are ongoing or have stopped or indeed any server details or security measures.


think some people would want to know incase there security was at risk (details and stuff).might not be the case but theres not much info in this skip full of spam.
 
I don't understand most of the comments made on The Register - I've had the least issue with OcUK out of all the many component suppliers I've used in the last 5 or so years.

Some people get burned once and make it their goal in life to mount as many anti-OcUK 'attacks' as possible. Yes I've had to RMA stuff back to OcUK before, but the turnaround is at least as fast as the larger companies, and with less duff components received in the first place.

Hopefully this'll be over and done with soon. :)
 
A lot of the negative comments on the Register seem to have been made by the same person. Probably a permabanned member from here with an axe to grind. Some of the comments there were just silly and demonstrably untrue.
 
Sad keyboard warriors I'm afraid. 99% of it is from banned members. 99% of it is pure fiction.

OcUK service has been good for a long time now. The recent addition of the Customer Service Forum demonstrates our commitment to be the best in the business.

To be honest while ocuk have had their ups and downs a lot of this is from people who have damaged or mis-understood how to use an item themselves and then expected OCuk to replace/refund it and then go on a rant when OCuk (rightly) refuse. (I work in retail myself and deal with this quite a bit).

There was a bump awhile back when some jobs were shuffled around internally where a few RMAs dropped through the cracks (mine included) and it took a bit of effort to get it sorted but when Yewen (and others) were finally on the job getting it cleared up some people just refused/ignored the prescribed avenue for getting it sorted and just carried on with their rant.
 
Hear hear. I've never personally had a problem when purchasing from here and I've had consistently good service from you in the roughly 5 years I've been buying from you. Hope whoever's doing this gets busted and get's a rough time in the prison showers.
 
Nearly every part of my PC is from ocuk. I will always shop there 1st as I have never had a problem with them. Even when I got a parcel with a part missing, it was sent out sharpish even tho' it was ticked on the despatch note as packed.
