** OCUK EXCLUSIVE - AK RACING & AROZZI GAMING CHAIRS **

did anyone answer this? I currently have a fanatec set up and the CSP v2 brakes are pretty solid and with these chair wheels, I think i would just move the chair back instead of emergency braking. Really need one with no wheels. Can it just be installed with no wheels and not leave any carpet marks?

When installing it the wheels just pop in to the base, I'll have a better look tomorrow (4.20am)

I am interested in these and am a little confused as to the differences. Would be grateful for any help. Here goes:

1) Do the Arozzi chairs, Monza and Enzo to be precise, have a reclining back ?
The description mentions tilt but not back reclining.

2) Other than the look, is there any difference between the Monza and Enzo - the dimensions and description seem to be the same.

3) How much better are the AK chairs compared to the Arozzi ?

4) Other than the difference in dimensions and material, is there any difference in quality between the AK Pyro and AK Gaming Chair ?

Finally, I guess more of a direct question for the OCUK guys, it seems there were some QC issues early on but you manually checked the stock and retained the good stock after which most people were happy. The latest purchases though seem to have QC issues again. Is this a new batch that hasn't been QC'd yet or just one that got away ?
How confident can you be that I will get a perfect chair ? Is there a particular chair that you haven't seen any QC issue with that would be a safer bet?

Thanks to all in advance for any help you can give.

so did you get a chance to check out the no wheels option?

I Just took the wheels off there to pack it back up, I tried sitting in it with no wheels, Chair does not move at all on the floor etc, Not sure about it leaving marks on a carpet, Most likely will due to the weight you could do something so that it does not leave marks though.

If you get enjoyment from spending your very hard earned cash on very well manufactured items then look elsewhere.

I have looked around the interweb and the problem is there appears to be a fair few of these style chairs but it hard to know which ones are good quality and which are not.

At least here, we can see photos and get reports from people who have actually bought some.

Any other recommendations ?

Dropped into OcHq today to pick up the Arozzi Monza. Very comfy chair, there was one slight problem however.

On one side of the chair where the shoulders sit the chair is wrinkled:

On the other side it looks like this:

I fixed it in no time, turned out a small bit of the foam underneath was stitched to the fabric + a bit of heat made it exactly the same as the right side. Also I had one bolt which seemed to be made out of tin, it stripped the thread (no it wasn't cross threaded). Had to saw off a small part off the end of the bolt and then it went in fine.

All in all however the chair is well worth the £. It's wider and more comfortable than the DX Racer - the pointless recline function on the DX. Also the padded armrests are a big + .

cheers mate. Can anyone confirm if these chairs have a brake? i.e have the wheels installed but they do not move? Need a racing chair that can be moved around the living room into a corner but can be whipped out for some sim racing and not go flying back every time i slam the brakes!

Any recommendations appreciated.

Got my premium chair yesterday. Damage wise there was nothing much, apart from some specs of paint or something on one of the cushions., front and back but you don't see the back...

Also I was missing the allen keys and 2 screw/bolts needed to finish assembly. I had allen keys anyway so that's not an issue. However the 2 screws I am missing are as I can't finish the chair. I have asked Overclockers for some to be sent out but no news of any found at the warehouse yet. I would buy the screws/bolts but I don't know the dimensions...

Overall it's a great chair but I do feel they are overpriced and the "premium" versions are not a premium product in my opinion. Just based on flecks of paint, movement in the arms (more on one arm than the other) and small bits of scuffing on plastic parts.

Nope there is no break.

Are the quality issues rearing their ugly head again ?

This is driving me nuts. My heart wants to order one but my head is saying, whoa there boy. Hold back your horses until there is consistent quality as its not a cheap buy.

Any comments from OCUK ?
Are these a new batch that haven't been checked yet ?

I'm almost pressing the buy button on an Arozzi myself, just can't quite do it due to my apprehension based on what I have read.
Come on OCUK,convince me.

The quality control on these for the price is shocking, I want a nice new gaming chair myself but every single customer has a DIFFERENT issue of some kind, which makes it sound like shoddy quality control than a manufacturing issue of some kind, really not good enough for the price that's being asked which is a great shame as i'd love to own a decent quality one :(

@Footyslayer I believe that's part of the PU Leather that's flaked off, I had it also.

Ah really?

That's even more annoying than I thought then. Not a a big enough issue for me to send the chair back but it's a massive issue regarding the price of these chairs. Chairs of this sort of price should be perfect, it's comfortable and looks great but it's the small things you know?

Oh and I would love those screws/bolts to be sent out. Even if overclockers need to open a new chair to give me them as I didn't get them at all and that's not my fault. I am in discussions with Bailey regarding theses issues, don't want the hassle of sending the chair back but the screws sent out from an old RMA'd chair and a replacement headrest and I'd be perfectly happy!

Yes there should be no problems with these at all for the price... its crazy that there is so many... Even with OCUK's QC apparently.., My replacement chair is due tommorow, I will inspect it first before I even put it together any damage I see it's being taped back up for another replacement.
