This is true, delivery date for those prices are now showing 29th of May now though...TBH XT Nitro+ can be had for ~£685.
Comparing FPS here or here with here, and apply only a 10% increase on OCUK non XT Nitro+ price you are better off going XT Nitro+.
1080P 177.1/176.3 vs 119.5 FPS ~10.7% gain going XT
1440P 135.5/135.0 vs 119.5 FPS ~13.4%gain going XT
4K 79.5/79.5 vs 69.5 FPS ~14.3% gain going XT
Even if apply 10% to OCUK non XT Nitro+ we get £693 target for XT price.
Yeah that's understandable. I'm still a bit on the fence myself really however, I know what card I want. £20 over the initial first week sale price to me is nothing especially if OCUK deal with RMA with Sapphire. Especially if you work that cost out it's lifetime.I can't say all will have x experience. I initially had long delivery dates stated, but it went as below.
I ordered XT Aorus Elite 8th March, went to cancel around 11th and it updated to being dispatched, 12th it was at my door and I rejected it. XT Gaming OC 11th ordered, 12th showing as coming 13th, luckily able to cancel before dispatch.
I just totally changed my mind on what was right card and price point I'd buy at. So I just won't rush to buy one currently, has to be right card and x price for me now.
Before pricing got announced I had hoped MSRP cards would start at £599 GBP but set myself an absolute max of £699 to get a card.Yeah that's understandable. Everyone has their own cutoff though. My cut-off is on the limit though.
I initially didn't like the nitro+ design which is why I was opting for a hellhound or red devil. Red devil was priced above what I was willing to pay. The hellhound sold out instantly then price jumped a good bit. Before pricing got announced I had hoped MSRP cards would start at £599 GBP but set myself an absolute max of £699 to get a card.
When the Nitro launched at £699 that made my decision for me, especially as I was replacing a Nitro. I maybe could have fought for a £569 card, but I didn't want to try for those and be disappointed not getting one, plus as the Nitro was already in my budget and not available immediately I thought I'd leave the cheaper cards for those with tighter budgets. I remember being there when I was younger, bit more fortunate now to have a bit more wiggle room. Currently living on my own with no-one to ask "how much??" helps too![]()
£20 over I have no issue, with either. I don't know non XT price changes.Yeah that's understandable. TBH don't really need a card, more of a side grade/new toy to play with.
I have a Merc XTX on WC, stock power limit is ample for my needs. I also flashed ASRock Aqua XOC VBIOS so have 550W limits available if wanna just do some meddling.
As I WC and blocks aren't about and was a few month last gen to get one, I think again better to wait. I don't think resale of XTX be effected by then either.
Same really, but I guess I want to buy myself a birthday present for next month now haha.£20 over I have no issue, with either. I don't know non XT price changes.

I've ordered a Sapphire pure 9070xt, that cost me £635, so £35 above MSRP is reasonable but I've noticed the prices going up and up and up..almost £700 now.
Not sure when it's going to get sent it's still on order
EnjoySame really, but I guess I want to buy myself a birthday present for next month now haha.
I hope my post don't make you feel bad and only my opinion, we all buy what we prefer/meets our needs.
IMO better to buy Pulse then Pure. Both have 14 phase VRM, both have 2x8pin, both no dual VBIOS, stock power limit difference is also very small 304W vs 317W.
I guess pricing depends where you look. I have seen for example Gigabyte XT Gaming OC ~£915 at well known etailer. I would never contemplate buying at that price. Even when I paid £680 I cancelled.
End of the day these are mid-range cards. Good features and worthwhile buy, but I'm just thinking if I don't find right card at price I'm willing to pay, I'll just wait til UDNA.
I hope you get yours soon and enjoy the new card.
Enjoy.
Was anyone else affected by a DPD "security issue" with another reseller? Delivery on my XT Nitro+ was supposed to have arrived Monday. Got a notice from reseller of a delay on Monday from both reseller and DPD (with both claiming it was the other party's fault. Last night, I noticed my order status updated back to processing and a new order was listed for the same card.
This morning, I got a notice from reseller there was a DPD "security issue" and my shipment (and others) had been stolen -- apparently, they lost a whole trailer of cards on way to the depot Goodfellas style. Reseller claims they will fulfil from remaining stock and ship to me within 48 hrs... not holding my breath. If they lost a whole trailer, it's gonna take longer than 48 hrs to restock.
Edit: Just got a follow-up message from reseller, same content as before, but with an addendum that they will provide refund if there is no stock. I guess I'm not getting a 9070xt... Complete %=^show this gens' launches.
Not in my experience - it's capable, relatively quiet and mine does not exhibit any signs of coil whine. It's also got bigger fans than the 7900 XT it replaced - so cooling seems good.Any reason not to go for an XT Pulse?
Ok sounds good, I was looking at that or the Reaper XT.Not in my experience - it's capable, relatively quiet and mine does not exhibit any signs of coil whine. It's also got bigger fans than the 7900 XT it replaced - so cooling seems good.

RRP should be (and was) £569.
Direct conversion + vat is even less than that too (£555).
