Oh look, another day with no Strix OC news. Shocker.
Of course it is! You are jumping in front of people who have been waiting in a queue for a product. Doesn't matter if it's in the same product group or not. As previously said, the annoyance is with OCUK for allowing this policy, not the jumpers.

Sucks buddy, i have a 670 thats makes a racket under load, still better than no GPU though.
For whats its worth, and at the risk of finding a horses head in my bed, i agree with the OCUK CS policy. They take the view that we are in one massive queue. This policy spreads the love and the pain across all members, which i believe is the fairest policy.

Someone surely has to know where their shipment is, somebody must be keeping tabs on things. Seeing as nearly all resellers in the UK have no stock of any of the cards I'm looking to get is starting to make me think about just getting a couple of the founders editions to see me through until the Ti's become available. Just hope they are not distributed as poorly.
This 1080 launch is beyond a joke now, i thought oc was a massive GPU seller but only getting dribs and drabs of cards coming in, stock getting lost not turning up no tracking for thousands of pounds worth of gear, it all seems very shady once again.
Yet Nvidia and all the big card manufacturers claim they have made tonnes but its just supply outstripping demand...............
Their claims run contrary to the situation a lot of people are in, having a birthday during the wait.
Yet with my work if i send a document with no monetary value overseas i get a step by step manifest of where is it, smells like pure BS.
This launch has been comical shippings going missing and being sent without tracking. Billion dollar companies not sure of what they are making and sending apparently at factory level.

Im still waiting on the OC strix that others seem to be getting from elsewhere now. The lack of info from ASUS is appalling and the comms from OC regarding the issue is just as bad.
Im high up in the queue for my Strix but rest easy FTW customers im not switching, A: out of principal against a truly ridiculous system and B: I just dont care anymore, my 980ti is still smashing current games at 1080p so this new card can keep hiding within its phantom 33 shipment.
This 1080 release has been an utter shambles and honestly this being my first time with OC im not sure I'll be back.

I ask MSI UK on facebook about the Sea Hawk they say they dont know ask OC when i ask OC they say erm er erm the date on the system says Friday but cant guarantee.
How difficult is it to send out an email asking about a card the people i work for certainly arent worried in asking a supplier.
Truth is information is being withheld as neither the companies or OCUK want us to go elsewhere so its silence.

I'd cancel if you're planning on staying 1080p. In fact with a 980ti, I'd go 1440p gsync instead and save some towards the future Ti.

They said they are HOPING the FTW's will turn up sometime this week. So don't hold your breath.
Where is the word "Hope" in this? It states that the shipment will come Monday. If it does not come today then I am at a loss with what is for me a £1k + buy. I have spent less money and gotten better customer service. I am not angry at OCUK as I am sure they would love to send us all cards right this moment. However more upset with how Nvdia have handled everything this launch.
