Hmm that is weird, normally OCUK get a lot when new stuff comes out. I think I know which shop you mean, but yes if they are getting 300 then possibly OCUK will as well.
 
They need to get the gnomes doing nights to make more GPU's. Except for asus they have robots to do it.

it'll be worth the wait for you all when you receive your 1080s :D I'm in queue position 2 with a competitor as it was cheaper at the time £597 so expecting to get mind the 17th, can't wait!

Until I receive the card I'll always be thinking about how I paid £690 for a card that's not even the generation's 'big' chip. Not really good value for money but once I get it I won't care any more. :)
 
I caved and went for the 1080 SC for watercooling. Comes with a backplate so it saves some money plus higher resale value and I had a NUS discount bringing the price down.

The issue is that I haven't a sausage when it will arrive.

I'm guessing you got the classy? I was contemplating it, but after owning a classy 980 Ti and seeing the FTW 980 Ti hitting the same clocks as me, for my needs to classified is a waste of money for me so I thought I'd save close to £100 and just settle on the FTW looking forward to a custom BIOS for it too rock solid 2.2ghz and I'll be happy with a +600 on the memory :D

In all fairness this new 1080 classified does look a lot better than the more normal cards. The 980ti one was pretty much the same.

I got the hybrid, really want low temperature and noise this summer. :)

I went with 2 EVGA FE's today. Didnt want to wait for SC and was really far back in the queue. They will be here Monday :)

EK FC Blocks will be here Monday aswell. Got my EK backplates today. Look fantastic. Love EK stuff.

I'll get some pics, temps and performance figures up once fully up and running on Monday evening.

I can understand and as you are putting them on water, a good move going for the FEs. This wait for the FTW is proper arghhhhing me but going to stick with it.

Not really a good move. All those cheaper clown versions have identical PCBs with the FE and £70-100 cheaper (cost of a waterblock). FE is only paying for early access.

I would agree but there isn't any in stock, so hence the good move. You wouldn't believe how many times I have thought about switching my order, simply because of my impatience and for those that are not worried about the extra cost and water cooling.... Good move :)
