Tell me about it. I'm here sucking my toes with a GT 710 after I sold my Titan X. Still hanging in here waiting for the clown card.

Yeah I caved cancelled my FTW order went for the KFA2 basic and the EK block and plate.

Was the block that swung it for me, I basically got the block for free, now hoping it's all here on the 10th. :rolleyes:

Fair point, But ive been "Blocking" my cards for years now never had an issue, only one I've ever needed to return was a gainward which had no problems with the RMA

I got my PC added as an extra to house insurance for accidental damage so worst case there's always that..... ;)
 
I ordered an FTW and I asked this morning what number I am in the queue and I'm 204 :(
I would imagine I won't be getting it until July if they are only getting batches of 50 every week.

I would expect them to ramp up - the first batch being 50 doesn't necessarily mean they will only be getting 50 per week

I was 149th at the beginning of the week, so only 55 more orders between then and now? Interesting! Maybe a lot who ordered got tired of waiting/mad they have to wait till the 17th+ and went with other cards or the FE..

I nearly went with a FE because of the wait but paying more and getting less just didn't sit right with me. I would hope that due to the large amount of orders OCUK will be able to get bigger batches in than they had originally planned, but I guess that's really up to EVGA :(

I guess for me, I'd probably feel bad when the FTWs are finally out, and I could have had one, but ended up with a FE because I was impatient. Will be worth the wait

Think I will hang on in there even though my TX is losing value by the second. I know I will regret it if I dont buy exactly what I want
 
I cancelled my order for the founders editions when i saw the aftermarket 1080s with all the rgb led lights, after a lot of consideration I have made my choice, i will get the egva 1080 classified, apart from its good looks it also has a cable management bit where you can tuck the cables on the bottom of the card, having the sli bridge the standard led lights and the led cable management attachment it will truly look amazing..

so does anyone know when the classified will be released? or how long do you think we will have to wait for the classified 1080?

About a month realistically?

GPU launches are always a mess, so don't expect reliable stocks for a few weeks (or more) :D

Still remember how hard it was to get the 980Ti Hybrid last gen.

Yes. The only metals you need to worry about mixing are aluminium with anything else, copper and nickel are both similar and not prone to corrosion.
