In case you didn't know the cable management extension does not come included with the classified, you will have to buy it separately. It will also work on other EVGA 1080's, no idea if it will work on previous gen or other aib partners.

It will launch at the end of June. At a guess sometime between the 24th - 30th.
 
I'm pretty sure Ben from EVAG said there had been delays and that the 13th for SC and 17th for FTW was looking more likely than not.

I wonder if OCUK would upgrade us to Saturday delivery for the FTW (like they did for the FE edition) if it does arrive on Friday. I am not at work the week after so that would be awesome if so.

1st in line for the EVGA FTW with OCUK here so excited :D

Out of curiosity, has anyone here ordered the MSI Gaming X 1080? If so, roughly how many have been ordered/what are you in the queue?

I was going to, since IMO it looks the best (same design as my 980Ti), but couldn't justify the £70 premium over the EVGA SC which has the same base and boost clocks albeit with a reference board as opposed to the custom MSI. Had the MSI been priced a little more keenly, I would have bitten because the Twin Frozr coolers are excellent and look fantastic (goes with my Asus Rog red/black theme).

I bet they're gonna lower the price once the dust settles in around two months. But they're gonna miss out on a lot of sales from people who want to buy a card now. Same with the 1070. Simply not worth the extra $$$ compared to its competitors

Indeed. It is odd. Even on a competitor there is a £90 difference between the Gaming X and the Gigabyte G1 :confused::eek:

Not sure why MSI think their card is so great :p

WTF i hope this is not true, the robbing gets, nearly £700 notes for a new card and they can't even provide the cable routing add on, I would like EVGA REP to come up with some sort of excuse why this is not included.

EVGA have never said that it comes with the card. Nor does it have to as many people won't use it but would still be paying for it.

If you don't like the price, don't buy it. Plenty of cheaper evga cards.

I ordered my FTW on the 30th so I assumed that I was way down the queue. Decided to check with OCUK and they told me I was 48th in the queue. Looking at your post, I think that they may have been wrong!

Suppose some could have cancelled orders...

Just sold both of my 970s now and am down to Intel 4600 graphics!

Just been playing Hard Reset Redux on low at 720p lol

Almost nibbled on an FE today, but thought I would regret it. How long does it usually take before these cards are available to just buy?
