OcUK Health Seekers: Post your progress pics

Mostly sit ups m8, also abdominal ball crunches and single arm tricep kick backs. Probably if you rotate these with some cabbage soup diet protocol should trim these up in no time.

thanks, will take a look at the cabbage soup diet for a week or so and see what results i get out of it :)

And Cardio. :)

Yep, he already does cardio mind...So I'm presuming it's due to something in the diet? Or could just be naturally like that (like myself :()

I'm working on it mind! :p

could well be i have no real diet as i never eat MORE than i should + I'm quite active over all :) i guess it could be just the way i am but ill get rid of them no matter what :D

thanks again.

I think UE's response (and mine for that matter) was directly proportional to what we felt the chances were of the poster A) taken any advice given, B) coming back to post updates ;)

clearly i will take the advice given i wouldn't be here if i did not need any :) and if he was taking the mick who cares lol.. i guess that sort of puts me off taking any advice given? :D

anyway its nice and clear that i need to reduce my BMI and that i guess is my main goal for now, i wont be changing my training but ill take more notice in the foods i eat :)

Bodyfat percentage is literally that. The percentage of how much of your body is fat. :)

BMI is some useless measurement that has little bearing on actual health.

my bmi by the online calculators is 23% lol.. clearly they dont count the muscle mass :o

I think I'm well into the overweight category and I've got around 15% bodyfat.

Reducing your BMI will not take and lean mass (muscle) loss into account. In terms of aesthetics, you don't want to lose any muscle mass.

Edit: yes! :p

Mine is around 27-28 I think

I'm not a bodybuilder but thought you guys might like this if you haven't already seen it.

The guy did that to show how they make the "before and after" weight gain shots for those crummy diets you see on websites.

He basically bloats the crap out of himself for one shot then does a load of exercise etc so hes pumped for the other shot. Hes a pretty muscular guy with a bit of pork doing something for effect.

Thanks for pointing out the obvious :D

Quite remarkable what can be done with a few lights, crisps and soda!

Is it just me or does he remind anyone of Prince William from the side?

where do you guys get your body fat % i tried a few machines and getting different results. I even purchased a scale that claims to measure your body fat but after a month i suspect it's not working at all. it just takes some variables like your age, height and weight and comes up with a number.

Scales are rubbish. You need to get it done using calipers - or if you can afford it, have a hydrostatic measurement done. And if you're REALLY flush a Dual Energy X-ray Absorptiometry scan (DEXA).

I'd say forget measuring, even the best methods aren't that great and cost a fortune. Go with how you look not a number. I'll bet almost all the numbers you see online are just people guessing or using scales that use a formula to try and work it out. Normally I'm all for seeing numbers to prove things but in this case I don't believe the cost of a real measurement is worth it.
