You guys will love this. I went back in '09 (full day event). Sadly the they were using the Jag XKR at the time (later replaced by the M3 as you all know)

Filming

This car left me in awe... Never experienced anything like it

Just made me wonder realised just how fast F1 cars must be. I have footage of the lap I done somewhere too!

Ah yes, one my favourite cars from the 80's and very rare and not much know about unless you follow the sport. The F2 Ralt Honda which unlike all the other F2 cars at the time didn't run the straight 4 2 litre BMW but a V6 2L. It sounded incredible, like a high pitched 6R4 capable of 180mph. Spirit also ran a couple of cars with these engines and they were the car to have really.

This happens, Did to us anyway. Guy was called Markus Becker, Drove a blue 430 Ferrari and came wearing his lovely blue racing shoes. To say he was quick is a understatement

Yes just to mention this Palmersport have said your are OK to bring your own driving shoes (thin soul), gloves and helmets if you wish, but they do provide all of this in an ample range of fitments.

I'm assuming I'm ok to use my own suit too? (It's a proper 3 layer Nomex one) not sure whether I will or not yet as I don't want to stand out too much and make myself a target! Will be using my own lid etc though.

Ooh good, they didn't mention lids in the booklet but I'd rather wear my own!
