OcUK Minecraft Server - Rules & Chat

Oh if it's infinite then there shouldn't be too many issues as I'm sure each person with a station could supply a block or 2 then a few of us can donate a few blocks for the central station/switch points.

Wow, things have taken off in the 3 hours since I last posted. I'm not going to comment :D.

Anyway, back to interesting stuff. Minecart Mania now working is great. We can really crack on with the main lines and get them finished.

Me, Aypez, Rizo and a few others were discussing a big community build to the south, as marked on the original subway map, with potential for docks and some other themed area. Does anyone have any ideas/preferences for themes? So far suggestions have been...

Oblivion Imperial City Style
WoW Stormwind Style
Medieval European Style

Please stick up any ideas you have and maybe we can put a plan together.
 
Guys I've set up my own server using the .exe from the Minecraft website but I want to host a custom map. How do I set up the server to host it? Im so lost!

EDIT: I've managed to sort it out.

I was intending on fixing it, but to be fair Jmiller did not deserve it after throwing the insults, the only "insults" I chucked his way was telling him to STFU because of the crap he was flinging and insulting my lifestyle which I thought was ironic since he was having ago at me for the insults I apparently put his way.

This is exactly what happened and how it happened.

I was going to the doorway of this bridge, because to the right of my bridge was my old building that was too close to the spawn, I was going there with the TNT to go down to a cave system I made a while ago to blow some out, anyway, upon opening the door (I had the TNT in my hand, and that may have been silly but that's not what this is about), I didn't realise when trying to open the door a TNT block would be placed down, but it did.

And some people in the server will recall me asking how to remove it without setting it off, so I went towards it to try remove it, think I was about to right click as I know left click would set it off, and before I put my finger on the button the ******* thing went off. I don't know why, and anyone recking that the only way to make it go off is by clicking on it, then think again, that game is still buggy and laggy so god knows how it went off. Take it as the truth if you wish, but I am neither a lier or a thief so as far as I'm concerned it is the truth.

I don't know if I'll be coming back to the server which you'll all be ecstatic to hear because no game as being as stressing as Minecraft, it's ridiculous, wanting to come on a game to have abit of fun and relax only to get stressed to high heaven by people. If I don't come back Killerog can have my spawner assuming Windle has not deleted it, or can just TNT the thing.

Ah, i have seen lag do that before, on the old sever. With a bit of luck, it wont happen to you too often :)

Yep, i totally insulted you there. you went off a tangent trying to convince people i insulted the 'way you live'. you bought that up, not me. I didnt once mention it and when you did come up with all that rubbish i simply said this:

That doesnt make any sense. You say the building was on the right of the bridge, thats means you were in spawn walking towards the bridge, not walking towards spawn as if you were, the building would appear on your left. Now, this is strange as the doors are wired to two pressure pads inside spawn. You dont open them, you walk towards them and they open for you. why were you trying to open an automatic door whilst holding TNT in SPAWN ??

It doesnt matter anyway. I didn't and still dont care that you blew it up. Intended or accidental. What frustrates me is a) your refusal to rebuild after those non-existant insults i *apparently* made and b) the lengths you'll go to drag everybody else down. how many times did you insult toStrings's 'life'? You think that's ok but this isnt?

Ok so after converting a theme from Wordpress into the OcUK design I built, I learnt that WP themes control a lot of the content shown. So I have rebuilt the theme completely from scratch. Means I can customise pages easier. Won't look much different, but the guts of the site are nicer now. I'll need to show the editors 1 thing about how to post an image left of the title, but it's super duper simple.

I'll work on creating a to-do list for Rad/Windle or possible changing it for a vote-based suggestion page for mods or additions to the server. Get registrations up and working which will coincide with PHPBB forum login.
 
I'd need to see the chat logs to see if that's correct, as I remember saying something like "I bet he's raging in his room", as in going mad, then you said, I'm not 12 and have a PC in my room, then I went onto how you were insulting my lifestyle, as I was rightly to question, as being a student at University, like the majority of students, I have a computer in my bedroom.

I may not be coming back to the server, but I'm at my rights to defend my position in that argument, as to which there is logs of somewhere, your blue quote just makes the hole deeper and even more unclear.

Oh FGS. I am getting really tired of arguing and hating on this server.

I honestly could not care less who started it, whoever provokes it or anything. All I want is for it to stop. Can we please grow up?

If someone on the server calls me a **** **** I will ignore it, why cant you people arguing do the same? It's not rocket science.

I'm tempted to ask Rad/Windle to add a Mute mod to the server and ask him to mute people for a week for arguing/provoking.
 
Agreed, JMiller, Willhub, etc please continue your argument (if you want) through email, there is no need to fill up this thread. I'm sure nobody else actually cares now.
