Network Issues - LINX issue
Jan 08 2011 17:21:35 by Killing
We have been monitoring issues on the network in London for the past 30mins which appear to be a at LINX ( the main London Internet Exchange ) our NOC have been alerted and will take any needed action.
Any users which come in over LINX may well be seeing packet loss and hence lag on their servers until this is resolved.
Update @ 17:25 Our NOC have shutdown our contacted LINX to raise the issue and have temporarily shutdown 224 peering sessions which appears to have helped, more when we have it.
Update @ 23:50 LINX have informed us they have stabilised the Brocade (224) platform so we are re-establishing 224 peering sessions.
Update @ 03:38 We are seeing issues again over 224 so are turning off peering on this exchange until further notice.
Something very strange has happend after the server crash last night.
We had finished the spawner and when I have gone back this morning this is whats happend:
We have two floors missing and the roof on about 1/3 rd of the spawner, never seen anything like this before.
As you can see the water is still running like its ok:

That's happened to me previously
Server down again? This is the last chance I get to play it, heading back to london and still havent found a place to stay!
If it was an iorn/wooden door hooked up to the pressure plate if the tnt was on a block next to the plate and you step on it the redstone will activate the tnt.
For future reference for everyone pour water over tnt set it off and run, it will still hurt players, but it wont destroy surrounding blocks, then remove water and replace any torches/redstone/tracks washed away by the water.
I walked the entire length of that track this morning, just so you know spiders can get in through the gaps. Might be worth looking at
