Found a pack of wolves and tamed them already :D

So you tame them with pork?

What do they do once tamed - aside from creepily stare at you, trying to work out if you're as edible as the pork chops?
 
You tame them by giving them bones and you know they are tame by them having a collar around there necks :)

If you hit a creature, say a cow, they will all start attacking it :p The pork chop is to heal them and you can tell when they are hurt if there tail is low :) Also they tilt there heads and sit it you right click on them.

Crap - need to get on to get my coords for my build :O What's the best way to give an adequate set of coordinates? I've never really paid any attention to them.

You need to join the minecraft group and register your mc name there


for coords just press f3 and then write down the xyz coords when you're standing in each corner.
 
Features List of update 1.4 :)

* Added tameable wolves
* Added cookies
* Sleeping in a bed now resets your spawn position
* New Minecraft logo
* Holding shift while climbing will hang on to the ladder
* Spiders will no longer trample crops
* Lots and lots of infrastructure for Statistics lists and Achievements
While most of the code is written, statistics and achievements won’t show up until the next update. We didn’t quite have time to finish them this week, and didn’t want to delay the update longer.

you knwo the new client that was released a while back asked you if you want to update and doesn't auto update any more :p
