A 1.5 bugfix updated should have just been released according to Notch's twitter feed.

I can put it up any time really. I just need someone who's happy to host a 1GB file for download by multiple people. I don't really want to stick it on the LinkTart dedi as it could impact users.

well they broke something again and now we have server beta 1.5_02

notch: Minecraft server beta 1.5_02 is out. A last minute tweak caused the biiig bug in 1.5_01, sorry.
