RE: MCM.

Do gold blocks not work anymore? It can't seem to get my cart up a small hill.
I've tried the new powered rails (unpowered) but they don't seem to have the ooomph of the old style gold blocks.. Any one have any ideas?

Good afternoon, just joined up to the forums to request whitelisting on the Ocuk server please. Ive played minecraft for several months now, and i'm just looking to build and have fun with some of my friends who already frequent the server. (Ins1337, parmoking, riplal).

I've managed to track up all of my super dooper pointless underground tunnel network now, which conveniently passes by some peoples places and even has stops for them

. I was going to try make it go around the whole island thing i am on...but im kinda rubbish with directions, so its going in a crazy way, i cant even work out on the cartograph where the last hatch comes out yet.

Anyway if anyone wants a pointless ride on a long cart system go to /home Jongo and check it out

Do you know when you go onto the Linktart website and look under the documents tab. On the second document that mentions about placing torches to keep mobs from spawning?

I'm having a look at it and it seems rather confusing, could someone be able to explain it in a little bit more detail? For example what does all the different numbers mean?

It's the light level emitted from a torch. Each number represents a block I think. Mobs won't spawn in the red numbers, as the light level is too high.

Thanks andi, I assume if I put 7 torches grouped together then that becomes a high lighting area that mobs won't spawn at?

I personally would not use this site for any reason, it is relatively new but has already have been flagged up for a number of reasons regarding security and trust, both the site and domain have been blacklisted several times by AV/Malware vendors.

If you need more help yourself I'm just going to keep filling those chests to be honest as I've decided to keep digging the same 3x3 tunnel in one direction, uninterupted for a while

The ocuk logo spawned things too until I went up there and put torches on it. Annoying to sit at spawn afk and come back with a spider jumping on you!

Also, the server has suddenly become unplayable with the lag
