OcUK Minecraft Server - Rules & Chat

Great, I log off for a 5 minute phone call and in that time you guys managed to bork the server! Will my transcontinental railroad ever be complete? Probably.
 
Rollercoaster is almost finished! Just need to sort out a launch control and make a few enhancements but it is open for business! McM would be useful but this is pretty much all we can do without it. This takes the place of Andy's rollercoaster which hardly got started and was built by scrlk, welshy101 and myself.

Nice to have that area/coaster completed :) Can't wait to try it out!

Only thing that looka odd about spawn now is that ugly mountain with the iron/gold/diamond blocks on the top :/
 
Just want to say Thanks to FT for adding pistons, it has really added a whole new dimension to the game, playing with secret doors, retracting floors and crushers for mob grinders (100% item drop, as opposed to 'lava blades' and cactus mob killers).

Is there anyway of getting sticky pistons (like the alternative pistons mod on the minecraft forums) ?

Like what you've done with them so far, looking forward to more intriguing puzzles.
 
I'm posting on behalf of welshy101 who will be posting here too shortly. He as been removed from the whitelist for taking some iron blocks from Takeo's old place on the hill. Me, welshy and scrlk were building the rollercoaster and run out of iron to build with, so me and scrlk joked about Takeo's place. You know, a bit of "Well, we need iron and Takeo hasn't played for a while. Hint, hint"

Welshy, being new, must have took us seriously and actually taken some! The reason I am posting is, first of all, that I am a lot more established on the forum so I am a little more credible than a one post wonder. Also, I know what you mods can check for and what you need to hear. I'm sure if you check the logs you will find the part where we talk about Takeo's place. I'll get Welshy to post here in a minute.

Also regarding Takeo's place, it looks a mess! In it's half finished state it looks pretty ugly right by spawn. I would suggest that someone either finishes it, or knocks it down and replaces it as it looks really thrown together at the moment. If we do replace it the iron and gold blocks could go into community projects.
 
His mound with random iron blocks on it at spawn does look really pap (does he even play still?). But if this "one post wonder" had read the rules he'd know stealing was a no-no.
 
No he doesn't play anymore and left it half finished. As I said, we were joking about taking them as he doesn't play anymore but be thought we were being serious. When I told him the reason on Facebook chat he basically said "But you said no one lived there anymore!"
