I'm looking forward to the update. It doesn't appear to be a new mode, more of an update to the game in general.

Some of the features mentioned so far:

- Will have programmable maps, buttons, pressure plates and levers.
- Possibly not being able to place or destroy blocks
- Numerous randomly generated dungeons using a similar code from the current dungeon generator.

I'm really hoping we'll see some new blocks or craftable materials added, and also some better rewards for finding and clearing dungeons!

The past couple updates haven't really brought anything new to the game, they seemed like pointless additions to me. (Maps, weather, hatches... and the rather huge list of new bugs).

I liked the weather for the immersion.

I've just not got the dedication right now for minecraft.

Sounds like the adventure stuff won't have anything to do with SMP though.

Possibly. This will be for the adventure mode though, which is more of an explore dungeons and combat mode. This is what I spent most of my time doing, I'm not much of a builder and if you can see that if you look at my constructions

To get into a lot of dungeons you sometimes have to tunnel into them

The 'not able to destroy blocks' thing will no doubt be a mode for the adventure maps that you can download, the ones with stories.

FT, found a strange nether issues.

A few of us are there atm, the floor is bedrock, no walls or anything.

I used the pickaxe for LB and it shows the pos as -196 127 -397 Nether.

Just wondering what on earth it is? :confused:

Here we go

Bena died in the Nether when he was with Freddie, and ended up here, so we all TP'ed to him to have a look.

The weird bit is the Y Axis being 127- nearly the height limit :confused:

You could be literally on top of the nether. I wouldn't be surprised anyhow.

We can also place no blocks, I am assuming this is because it would be at the limit for height?
