We're aware of several connectivity issues with Minecraft.net at the moment which could be impacting service to Minecraft customers, preventing the connection to servers globally. This issue is unfortunately out of our control and not solely limited to the service we provide.

The symptoms of these issues are "Server is taking too long to login" when connecting to your gameserver. We believe that the Mojang team are working on restoring full service to the website / other services as soon as possible.

Maybe there should be some sort of temporary suspensions in place for people who overstep boundaries or don't follow the rules, which is what has happened here.

I know we have rules but we almost need laws and suspensions. These should be clear, unambiguous and posted up on the website, that way there are no excuses.

This is not about rules this is about players thinking they are above other players & not treating each other with respect.

How dare anyone on this server decide that someone is too newbie to build at spawn as the current owner of this server I will have none of that here.
If I had not just handed full server control over to my replacement this morning of this server I would be asking the players that TNT the ground that a player had marked as there own to come forward then I would place a 3 day ban on you.
If I then still have to find out who did it I would be placing a 7 day ban on the players.

If we are going to talk about rules then the two below have been broken, both that hold Perm Bans.

4. Perm Ban will be given for griefing (damaging someones work).

5. Prem Ban will be given for bullying.

I'm no chicken so I will come forward. I laid the TNT above ground after a discussion in chat. I took the ideas the wrong way but I DID NOT set any off.

The discussion was about using that area for spawn exspansion.

Sorry guys and especially taziir for being a bell end.

I will take a ban.

Hehe, you've handed over control and you're still here to give server updates etc

But as Tefal said...TNT + spawn expasion...surely that only equals one thing?

tnt spread around randomly will not make anything flat.

even carefully placed tnt usually need s a fair bit of cleaning up afterwards.

Rule #7: Around the spawn there is a restricted build area/zone you can not freely build on this zone.

this is why the group believed the land was not Taziir's to claim as 'spawn area' is not clearly defined. If you dont believe me, ask them - their excuse was that the land was already reserved for the expansion of spawn. That the fact that they took it upon themselves to nuke the place should be punishable, of course. But it wouldnt of happened had that rule #7 been clarified.

Was it within that area? How is that area marked?

That's the point, 'spawn area' could be outside the walls, or inside them. Or both. The group believe it also included the area outside the walls.

but either way, nope, there is no area marked for any way for the expansion of spawn. It was a pointless waste of time anyway like i said before, rad could have just moved the entire building if it was too close.

I don't want to see people banned, I'd rather we just learn a lesson (myself included) to talk to each other especially where 'sensitive' areas are concerned.

So in other words, he was okay in wanting to build where he wanted.

Unless of course it was right next to spawn
