OcUK Minecraft Server - Rules & Chat

If anyone would not mind helping, go to /home willhub Then take the minecart track I build to the pyramid, only half of the outside built, just putting the floor inside, it's pretty huge. Need help and suggestions for the interior, probably need to add windows to the outside too, so anyone with who's good with building it'd be nice to make this into another quality build, me on my own could at best only do a mediocre build.

Virgin Media have cancelled our installation date of tomorrow and instead we have to wait for another two weeks. Sigh. Luckily I've managed to borrow a neighbour's wireless connection for a bit so I should be able to get online semi-properly in the meantime.

What's the deal on the current MC version? Has the item duping bug been fixed?

Had it happen to me, and then when the guy came he said he couldn't do it because the TP on the pavement was blocked and they needed to send someone to fix it. The next guy came and looked at it and said they should have used the next one along instead, and left. Then finally the 3rd guy actually did something!

Don't suppose you can get Be?

I would've gone for Be but we're far from the exchange so any ADSL connection will be pretty slow.

The annoying thing regarding VM is that it's all pretty much set up already. All they need to do is let us register our modem mac here. Annoying.

This is a cool project, I've allready done some more pyramid, when i see you in game we can figure out what to fill it with and finish that bridge :D

I was on last night, added lights to the bit you've done and started to remove the hill inside which is proving a choir, if you look to the right (from the front) and to the back there is a hole that goes down then like a long cavern I made with TNT, so that's a good place to mine for resources.

If you need cobblestone I have around 12 double chests of it dotted around my build currently. No intention of using it either.

Lava floor or glowstone = great lighting. Stops mobs spawning.
 
So. Any news on the update stuff?

Also, just noticed the discussion regarding the ages of members on the server. As long as I'm hosting the server there will never be a general 'age limit'. I've encountered plenty of people a lot older than the general server population (and me) that are extremely childish, and conversely people barely out of primary school with more of an idea of responsibility and maturity than the masses on here/anywhere else. Physical age is a terrible measurement of someone's maturity and whether or not they will 'behave' on the server and I believe our current system of giving most people a chance and then banning if needed is working reasonably well.
