OcUK Photo Comp - Season Five : Round Six - "Motion" DISCUSSION

Oh, by the way, erm....seeing as I am all the judges in one, you can send the cameras to me. :D
 
Changed my entry. Unlikley that I will get a chance to get a better done before I go away. It's no competition winner and not very original, but I like it :)
 
Got an entry in that will suffice until i have time to get the thinking cap on and think of something original for this round, C+C welcome on it. Faves so far are lowrider007 and Puz. Think this is going to be a popular round :D
 
Ok got my entry up this time after not having a clue the last round what to do plus having no inspiration to take a shot. At least mines is the first of it's kind this round so far :p

Well, after failing miserably with my pigeon idea to the extent that I'd have to submit a 100% crop (no thanks), I had another idea. I don't know why, but I seem to keep on erring towards the abstract in my photography, and if there's nothing weird about it, I'm not happy.

Anyway, hopefully it's not a step backwards. I think I'll experiment more sometime next week when I can find the time. It was great fun flailing about in the garage trying to get this, and I think I know what I did to get this particular result, so hopefully I can work on it!

It was great fun!

I used a bike light (which I thought would be too bright, but was ok), with a combination of erm, colour filters I made from red and purple Quality Street wrappers :D . The original is in red but with a tweak in PS it became blue, which I prefer.
 
Nice shot there dod. Very nice infact.

I think if you had any dirt on your camera's sensor you's easily get away with it on this occasion :p

Haha :) Don't really have enough time for comps nowadays but went out yesterday with this one in mind and specifically a shot like this. Took about 1600 all told and there were only three opportunities I got the whole day for one like this i.e. two racers very close going into a berm right in front of me. I got two and missed the other one by a fraction.
 
cmt has been to the science and industry museum I see :p

Dont think Ill have an entry this round due to a broken pc..no where to even store photos from my rather full CF card :( *curses slow student loan*
