I don't know if it is just a spot of jealousy going through me (it would appear as though he has the biggest bench in the UK (when compared with the BDFPA) after all, so no surprise), but I'm not sure that an equipped lift should be down with a bunch of raw lifters? Maybe we should have separate boards?

I doubt there are many shirted lifters. You'll just have to get stronger :p

Oh and a lad i used to train with was benching 220@90 and this was over 10 years ago before 4ply super duper shirts :p so i wouldn't be surprised if someone was doing 240@118.

I'd be more against someone being on the list with only 2 posts on the forums (both in this thread).

Nah it's all good, at least people are honest to say what they are using and we hope people are honest with the figures they give us :)

Don't worry, I know that a 240kg bench is very doable for some! I have no doubt in that. And yeah, I suppose that I'll only have to bump my bench up a measly 100kg to begin to compete with stats like that. No sweat! lol

Fair enough gents, guess I just need to chill out a bit!

Seems he tagged along with BIC3P to pinch top spot and then disappear.

Though when it comes down to it it's a harmless bit of fun with a bunch of strangers on the net and there are more important things to get worked up about than a stranger benching in a blouse ;):p

Well it's not like we are total strangers. Most other guys on the list have added to the forum in some way (asking/answering questions, friendly banter, and in some cases met irl) not just signed up, waved their willy and left.

True. You're the Don FF. Perhaps apply the minimum 250 post rule to our mini PL league? if people dislike the random willy waving.

Most regular contributors and even the lurkers are way above that and it could encourage the lurkers to contribute more and improve SA, providing they want to be on our PL league.

250posts? That's harsh! I would obviously have a biased here, though.

I don't think I'll top that bench, my RC is too fragile to do heavy bench, I stick to 100kg now and that's more than enough.

However, I want to get to over 200kg for squat and push past 250kg for DLs. At my bodyweight I should be on at least 220+ for squat and 270 for deads IMO.

I think I will put in that 250 rule, but I need to review it. I think since you're contributing to the forums and threads I will made use of some discretion. However, I'll think about it today and update my thoughts this evening.

Keep up the whining and we'll push for 1000 :p

Same for mine, my wrist (without surgery) will not be pushing anywhere near top lift. Just cant do it.

Yeah, would need some discretion as some low posters clearly know what they are talking about :)

I say 30k tbh, I'm sure i have over that in total (gave loads away!).
