Freefaller you sexy beast

Can you update my totals please. I managed a 140kg squat today. Did a pyramid as I wanted to push myself

10x 90kg
8x 100kg
6x 110kg
6x 120kg
4x 130kg
1x 140kg couldn't manage another one but still did 1

Thanks honey x

Yeah that makes sense, I tried 170 about 2 weeks ago and it felt like death on my back and legs, I just fell in to the rack with it and ended up straining my lower leg :p, when I managed it though, it didn't feel nearly as heavy, when I tried 180 as well it didn't feel as heavy as 170KG when I first tried it. I think I'm still on track for 500KG by the end of the year. :)

I'm pretty surprised at how I'm still making steady gains too. :p

Thought I would have a crack at the push press today. Was a little disappointed really, I managed 85kg at 94kg BW. First time push pressing for a max lift though, usually just tag them on with lighter weights when my shoulders start to pack up doing standing press. I did power clean 90kg and get it just over my head, but couldn't lock out my elbows :(

If you could add me to the PP list FF that would be great!

Also some advice...
I was playing around with dead lifts the other day and tried to lift 220kg. Getting it off the ground isn't really a problem, but I get stuck trying to pull my shoulders back and drive my hips. How can I improve this part of the lift?

Will be starting some power stuff in the next few weeks, so hopefully get some updated weights :)

Rack pulls work on that part of your deadlift as they removed the need to bring it off the floor

Nightmare, just thought I'd let you know my new routine is working out just fine. Was just experimenting and I did 170KG for 5 reps with ease towards the end. A 200KG raw deadlift will be heading your way in approx 5 weeks ;) :D

I've been as sick as a dog lately, haven't trained in 2 weeks! :(

I'm going to destroy you!

15kg oly bar? Aww :p

Was playing with some thick grip dumbells yesterday, handle was like a coke can! Couldn't lift anything significant at all lol
Haha, reminds me when I was DB deadlifting 150LB dumbbells, was finding it difficult to rep out as the handles were so smooth and big! lol
