I r top?!

can you update for me please FF, got that 210 squat tonight, having a brandy to celebrate :D

need to order some knee wraps now I think. If im gonna keep trying to push my squat then i'm gonna take the safer route with it in terms of very low reps!

time to do some work on chest (db's only) and shoulders now, so will have a go at the push press in a few weeks :)

Whats your address details Morba? I'll post you my ones if you want them, as I barley ever gave them any use.

Could you update my dead lift when you get time Freefaller.

Only up 5kg to 205kg un-equipped, but improvement none the less.

Also guys that have entered their push press weights. What weight can you just standing press with no leg drive?

My pushpress number is really out of date now, last time I tried a straight press, I managed 80KG fairly easy. My pushpress has usually been around 20KG more than my standing press, so I think I'll give 100KG push press a go tomorrow at the gym. :)

Did the 200kg deadlift again today.

My weakspot seems to be my hamstrings.
I prescribe more squats :D

Also upped my dips to BW+50kg for 5 reps and B.O.R's at 90kg for sets and reps. :D

##Edit: I'd like an update on my deadlift please. Also my BW is now 69Kg

I was expecting to get +20kg, but like N19h7m4r3 I can only get 5-10kg extra using my legs. I can standing press 80kg and only push press 85kg. It must be a technique thing.

Some big weight being pressed there.

I see my problem, I don't rest the weight at all.I keep it on my arms all the time, meaning they get exhausted far to quickly.

I basically just military press it all up with a small bit of leg drive.

Can my totals please be updated to:

p4radox -------- 77.5+ / 150+ / 145+ -------- [92] ---- 372.5

I might update again soon if I ever get around to doing a 1RM session :).

After 2-3 weeks I'm only just posting this up because I'm a retard and couldn't edit the videos

New updates :)

Squat: 165kg

Deadlift: 195kg

Bench: 100kg
(sorry no vid, up to you whether you put it on FF, although I would like it :D)

BW: 75kg

Sad times on my squat, my funny right legs twitches in. I thought I had gotten past that. Oh well no worries :).

I should really have gotten 200kg deadlift but the night before, when I did the bench, I was fannying around with a friend trying to make up new exercises or improvise others. Like plate pushes instead of a sled ;). I also spent about an hour going nuts over my vibrams cause it was the first time I had them :). A lesson has been learned :o

Thanks in advance FF :)!

P.S lots of shouty

Edit: Oh Morba I know what you mean, there called front squat presses :p

Nice deadlift! Not a fan of the squats though, your knees are inches ahead of your toes.

Doesn't that just through all the weight forward on the ball of your feet and toes? Taking away from the hamstrings?

Either way you got it up alteast.

Have you been training with the belt for long? Or do you just use it for PRs?

Toes can naturally come foward for some people. Infact when I squat I think mine are just over my toes. His back angle did seem to change during the lift which can probably be addressed by improving hip drive. Bare in mind the viewing angle too.

Still a respectable lift :)

I like to follow Mat Wenning says when it comes to squating.

1000lbs squater himself and works with Wendler and Tate at Elite FTS.

Although each to their own. What works for me doesn't always works for everyone else.
Hence why I asked if it's not making him lose balance or taking off his Hamstrings.

It is an unusual stance for powerlifting, but at the moment that's where he's comfortable. We've theorised that it's because of his rowing background, but it has been noted that he might find it easier to go wider. We have some very experienced guys at the club though and they don't see it being a problem for the time being (bear in mind this is only 7-8 months into his powerlifting "career").
