Right updated most of the totals, Djdom56 knocks nightmare out of the top 20!!!

Let me know if I've missed anyone.

Freefaller add me to the "Results for push press competition" if you want to. I've managed 138 kilos before with the most terrible form imaginable. I was attempting a standing military press and I ended up throwing the bar up rather than pressing it if that makes any sense. My days of doing that again are long gone!

Take it your plates are 20kg ones?

We only have 2.5, 5, 10 and 25kg ones. So a 3 plate bench at my gym would be 170kg

Yeah I have 20's at home. We had 25's at uni and also have some at the gym I use too.

Slapping 20's on instead of 25's can save a little bit of brain work ;)

My college gym is closing at easter for the rest of the year because of construction.

Will have to find a local on in town then.

Or build your own home gym \o/. Don't regret having my own cage at home despite having a gym 2 minutes walk round the corner (no cage there or rack).

I live at Uni, and even at my parent's place we have no room what so ever.
I've considered it a lot of times and would be far cheaper and better in the long run.

Sadly we have no room.

Nice lifts Benny, bench is getting big!

How are you finding free standing squats? I'm guessing you've been in your rack for a little while now?

Ta :)

Bench is my most comfortable lift.

I've been free standing squatting for about a year now. I did it for about 6 months at uni and then when I got back from uni I bought my cage but stopped squatting for a short while and then my form went to pot. I used to boost off an oly bench which saw me start at the bottom of the rep basically and walk backwards so the form was almost perfect.

I did some more squats last night and I've been leaning so far forward it's unreal! Did some with my chest out and can feel my hips opening up and actually being able to drive with them also some decent glute recruitment. Will have a stab at 180KG in a couple of weeks.

I'd like to put myself on here as well, just for record keeping's sake!

MoNkeE -------- 65 / 100 / 85 -------- [77] ---- 250

Bench was for 2 reps after doing a 2x8 set at a lighter weight

Squat was for 3x5, so could probably squeeze out 110 - 115kg

Deadlift I haven't done for about 8 weeks now, but was the last record I had of it. That was for a couple of sets at 8-ish reps, so again not a true indication :)

Still, a LOT better than when I first started out :)

I could, but I really dislike the idea of doing a 1rm test where I could be doing a decent work out :) Plus I'm currently doing HST, so I don't really have the opportunity. I may do it after I finish my 5's (3 weeks time) as part of my deload before my rest.

Excuse me mate, but 1rm is never a waste of time. Not only does it help with pure strength training but from it you can work out a decent working weight based around your maxes.

Also thanks to that can FF please add 85kg to my press 1RM please, I love cleaning and pressing

I managed that today, and I have to admit it did not do too many favours for my tendon injury in my leg. Oh well it'll be grand Mwahaha!

Nightmare, I'm sure they can be mate, but I've not felt the need to use them yet :) Doing HST I certainly know the benefit of calculating rep maxes, be it 15, 10, 5 or 1!

Icecold, No mate only two weeks of 5's - Going to Ireland as of this Friday, so will be missing four sessions. Decided to do general heavy work these last two sessions (same routine though), and then I'll return to doing my 5s after my week off in Ireland :)

Managed to get 200kg on the deadlift tonight for 2 reps, it was an epic struggle to get it off the ground.

LiE -------- 140+ / 130+ / 200(s) ------ [81] ---- 470

Nightmare sporting a poncy belt these days? :p

Benny  Backoff dude!

Hahaha, I have yet to use the belt for new PR's though.
I used it a few time on squatting with the smith's and it took away all the pain I get in my lowerback when I put on 140 or more.

On another note my leg seems to be 100% healed now.

Also managed a 175kg squat today when I was increasing the weight to test my leg. No belt for it, Mwahahaha.

I then put the belt on to see if I can do some more reps at 160kg.
I did two reps, and heard a little "POP".

One of the studs in the belt pulled itself apart. Does anyone know if this is going to affect the integrity of the belt much? I'm also going to email Pullum-Sports about it and send the pictures.
