Short term aim is 300 total which i could probably get if i attempted a 1RM bench and squat. We'll see....
 
Damn some good squats and deads going on by you guys. I'm still stuck on 170kg sumo deadlift and 140kg squat to just below parallel, I could the push squat higher with bad form but that's not the idea. I've started doing some addtional hamstring work as I don't think I'm recruting them well enough. Always good to have something to aim for!

Hit 122.5 kg on then bench saturday after a shocking bad 115kg warm up lift. 125kg should be in the bag this coming saturday.
 
It seems my days are about to be outnumbered. My shoulder injury is still holding me back :(

Have you been to a Physio yet? If not get there ASAP!

Get fixed and get back to training, we still need to out perform the top 5 on here!

Have you tried doing some hip exercises? It sounds weird but maybe your problem is there considering you do sumo deadlifts, it can also be the same for your squat.
Try those machines where you have to open your legs with weight pushing out and then try it pushing the weight in.

You usually see women on those machines, but even I'm going to start using them since my hip drive and sticking point is there.

yeah i'm going to start adding some cable pull through's to my workout again too. Going to avoid doing any 1 rep maxes and stick to 5x5 with the weight increasing each week, then after 4 weeks hit 140kg for a couple of singles and the following week pb 150kg. That's the plan anway :)

Hope a long break sorts it (eventually), would be sad for our top man to be stopping
I'm still training like a nutter it's just the magic isn't quite happening. My bench is aching to be smashed and I know I can easily beat it, heck I already did - I just never posted it. But the shoulders are giving in, the deeper tissues need strengthening :(

I have done and tbh she hasn't been the greatest of help. It seems I'm going to resort to my own research/rehab.

I'm full of optimism dude, lets do it. You're the one slacking! ;) :D

You coming to bodyexpo btw?
 
Oh and I think I've found a new ant at the gym. He came up to me and said "dude your squat is impressive, I saw it on youtube!" I was like :confused: "really?"

This lad is impressive. He's 68KG and he benched 107.5KG raw. We did a few sets together and this lad has some serious strength. He's doing weighted +40KG dips for reps.

To be honest I was getting frigging agitated. It's about time some resemblance of competition showed up! Bring it ON!
 
I've just noticed that I'm missing out on 21st place by 100 grams!

Seriously, who puts on 0.1kg plates?! Dan Dan is just trying to spite me!:p:D
