New totals:

p4radox -------- 100 / 175 / 180-------- [92.5] ---- 455

And a video of my 180kg deadlift which I'm chuffed with :D:

Technique is terrible, but at least I got the weight up there.:)

That's actually pretty damn good, I don't know what you are complaining about :p, and that was also very fast, I'm sure you could add at least 10kg to that :). The only comments with form are make sure your shoulders are held down and back to help maintain a straight back and you may want to consider tucking your chin to keep a neutral spine, I have found that very beneficial to my deadlift. Nice lifting :)

I tried 182.5 but my training partner (the guy holding the camera) has a habit of making me laugh at the wrong moment. Imagine bracing yourself for a big lift only for all the air to suddenly evacuate your lungs as a fit of giggles takes over... :p.

I've definitely got more in me, but it'll have to wait 'til next time.:)

I've read this thread quite a bit, and thought I'd jump in with mine to give me a bit of an incentive.

Weight:85kg

Bench: 70+ (3sets of 6)
Deadlift: 80+ (3sets of 8)
Squat: 100+ (2 sets 8 after moving up the weights)

I'm very interested to try my 1RM and will do at the end of the period detailed below (before the summer parties / holidays start).

These were achieved during early Autumn term, and since I've dropped quite a bit due to heavy excess drinking (being a student who cant stand time alone really doesn't help). I've also been unable to train properly for 6 or so weeks having broken my bottom rib/torn the ligament skiing.

I'm currently focusing on form, eating well, fitness and Uni work for the next 5-6 weeks (almost entirely cutting out the drinking) so I'm aiming to beat these by the end.

What plates are the bar? Doesn't look like 180kg.. I think I must be blind.

5-10-10-15-20-20-------20kg bar-------20-20-15-10-10-5

Which is pretty much all the plates in the garage gym that I use. :p

It's quite hard to see both 20kg plates on each end as it's viewed from the side.

Today was a good day. Managed a 205kg deadlift.
Although it was also the first day in over a year my grip failed with a deadlift. After I locked it and started to bring it down my grip failed halfway down.
The gym doesn't have rubber padding on the floor and there was a big 'ole bang haha.

I'm sure I might have managed 210kg if I didn't bother for 2reps for each weight starting at 140 and working up at 10kg intervals.

Plus my glutes, hamstrings and quads are still suffering from some doms.

Current lifts are:
[100]-[175]-[205] =480
Bench-Squat-Deadlift

Press = 85kg

Just did a 182.5kg squat :D. Takes my totals to:

p4radox -------- 100 / 182.5 / 180-------- [92.5] ---- 462.5

Here's a video of my 180kg one, unfortunately I didn't record my next which was the full 182.5,

It's not the end of the world, form is always more likely to break at higher loads.

To combat it, work on loosening up the hips, strengthening the VMO and medial glutes, and really over-exaggerate pushing the knees out on the way down and then stay as tight as possible.

I think you missed me, FF :) popped up to 100kg dead lift today, Woot!! So I'm now:

MoNkeE -------- 65 / 100(+) / 100(+) -------- [77] ---- 265

Reckon I've got a lot more in the tank for it as well, but did about 6 sets working up to that! It was also for 5 reps!

Told you that I had more in the tank! Got 125kg deadlift today :D only two reps but again, lots of sets! Hit 110kg and 120kg for 3 reps each before, and did 8 reps at 80kg and 100kg before that! If I didn't do so many reps working up to it, I reckon I could've maybe snuck up to 135 and got in to the 300kg total realm.......?!

MoNkeE -------- 65 / 100(+) / 125(+) -------- [77] ---- 290

Now Freefaller.... Please add me.... :p pwetty pwease!

700kg total is my very long term goal. Somewhere in the region of ~140kg bench, 260kg squat and 300kg deadlift.

Quite some time off yet though
