OCUK Rolling Road 11 - Saturday March 19th 2011 - Eurospec, Guildford - Pictures, graphs, discussion

Haha, i just remembered when Fox pulled away in the car park, fairly sharpish and fired a stone up that somehow managed to miss everyone standing in front of Janesy's car and find it's way through to hit Janesy's front bumper.

Ohhh that was a comedy moment. :D

Disappointed with the lack of a subsequent "spec me a compo lawyer" thread from the injured party.

I remember the injuries being quite substantial!

Intercooler fitted, here is the result:-

12BHP from the intercooler and obviously the intercooler is rated for 700BHP. :)

Had no idea that happened!

Still, it doesnt sound as bad/comedy as last year at the Hampshire meet where somebody quite literally swung into a parking space, misjudged it, and smacked into my car with 1 week old freshly repainted front bumper

theres never enough interest.

People are quite happy to put their car on a dyno but less so to risk damaging it by taking it on a track day.

Then theres the considerable cost from brakes, tyres, wear & tear etc..

Its been done before and a few club together to go, but ultimately if you want a big social day you need something like a RR day.

And

I think this has been tried before and failed

Whut?

Pretty sure there have been lots of OcUK track days, not just at Donny.

Was that Janesy B by any chance? :p

yeah but only like 5 people actually go out on track.

And you can exactly be sociable with people spectating when you're buzzing round the track.

Was more that the 'there is never enough interest' than the social part, I didn't edit your quote to reflect this. There is always loads of interest in track days to be honest, it's just a matter of getting one that is keenly priced and located for all (a bit like with a RR).
