OCUK Sandy Bridge, SB-E and Ivy Bridge 5GHZ Club

I cannot seem to push past 4.5ghz without a blue screen in prime testing.

All voltages on auto at the minute and its more stable

CPU PLL AUTO (1.80)
Memory is corsair 2000mhz stuff @ 1866, i dont even know if i can set it to 2000 seems like 2133 is only option. thats at deafault which is 1.65v

any ideas on how i can push past 4.5ghz maybe to 4.7 on the UD4?

Ive got a 2600k under water now and will start clocking soon. 5Ghz is my first real target. What sort of voltage do you think i will need (if i have a good chip) to get there?

It all depends on your motherboard. Each board vendor has different voltages that are needed.

But rule of thumb the following voltages are needed just to boot into OS at 5GHz.

vCore 1.440
Vtt 1.07
PLL 1.76

They are not writ in stone and are guide voltages only. Some CPU's will need more and others less.

@ Oma-Lan-DP :D:D So contagious it is. :p

Slight improvement on my score.

Not really sure if I needed that much vcore. Just whacked it up in a very unscientific way :p

For some reason I am having problems with Super PI in that I cant get it to work at any clock speed. Do

I get membership anyway with this?

Any idea what that might be? I am a newcomer to all this, so would appreciate any advice.

I have taken the clock speed up to 5GHz, but not at a day to day voltage. Also, the RAM timings are a nanosecond out. Is this enough to explain the discrepancy?

If not, I would love to know where I'm going wrong!
