I think I caught the voltage in the process of stepping down, under load it runs at 1.380V, but yes it's prime stable at that.

very tempted to try my 2600K for this..just one question (even tho it might be answered,but 27 pages....) - HT needs to be turn off for better clocks or not?

Try it with both on and off.But with it off you probably wont need to use as much voltage to find the max overclock of your chip.

If you want to get your time down it is best to run super PI 1 mil on a fresh install of Windows XP sp2 or sp3, no drivers what so ever and as few as possible services running.

But nothing will beat raw CPU speed

A right, well i wont get it down by much then as running windows 7 now on a install done couple days ago.
However I can kill of as many services as I can.

Question to those in the top 5 -

I Have been able to boot my 2600K at a 55 multi and stopped there on water. What is the likelihood that I will be able to hit 5.7+ given sufficient cooling ?
