[OcUK Staff Builds] rjkoneill's TJ07

They should fit as I used shorter M3 allen head screws from the same place to screw my mobo to the risers.

The long screws I have are like this on the end, not the mushroom shape or whatever theyre called :p

If you want some send me a message through trust, will get some posted out tomorrow or thurs :)

mmm those look good, how much did you pay for them?

I tried and failed to get a PA120.3 and PA120.2 in the bottom of my TJ07 like that.. to be honest its the first time I've completely failed with something like this, it all went in but it was a nightmare to work with, the psu cabling pushed up against it all and it was too tight and it was all horrible... I fell out of love with my TJ07 then :(

Good luck mate!

Blimey, out of all the cases I have worked with the TJ07 has been the easiest by far.

Why did you have trouble with the 2 thermochills in the bottom?

I managed to fit the same 2 rads plus 5 120x38mm fans without too much bother.

I wanted them in series rather than for 2 loops and having the barbs facing each other was a problem... not impossible but a PITA and then I had the pump down there as well and then the psu so basically the pump and psu wires were all mashed up together and I didn't like the gaping holes in the floor of the TJ07 etc etc

Then I punctured my 120.3 using slightly slightly too long screws that i'd used with a grill before.. it was all a bit of a nightmare but trust me I know what I'm doing! I've done full internal watercooling on a shuttle before now and a dual loop PC7 which is much smaller.. I don't know why I just cound't get on with the TJ07.

I acknowledge its easy to work with for normal loops, when I ran out of patience with the dual rads I just whipped half of it out and had a single rad loop in there installed in about an hour but by then the love affair was over.

Moving on to a V2010 that I'm contemplating making bright orange.

Damn, that sounds like you had a real bad day there. :(
My rads are in series as they are sandwiched together, I used 90 degree barbs and faced the rad outlets towards the outside of the case which makes maintenance a lot easier as having them face each other makes testing for leaks almost impossible.

Hope your V2010 build is more successful!

no problem - i have plenty of bitspower goodness to help route the tubing ;)
if it goes horribly wrong, i am holding you personally responsible :p

my cpu block is finally sorted!

i have removed the impingment plate as i tested it with and without and it
made little difference - hopefully it will keep the flowrate up in this large loop

pics added to the OP to keep it all in one place

pictures updated - bottom half of the case is all but finished and the motherboad is mounted on the tray :)

hope to have it close to finished tomorrow

Haha, spoil sport! :p

Looking like its all going together well :) Glad the screws fit alright too, definately look better against the black mounting bracket than silver ones would have

well im using a backplate from a coolit domino that got destroyed in transit at work, i took it home as i thought it would be useful for something and... it seemed to fit perfectly

i think EK should consider something similar as a stock solution for the supreme

its just a mockup over the socket protector at the moment as my chip is currently still in use, however it seems like just the perfect fit - thanks again mate for helping me out - you are a legend!!!
