After all that practice last night
I can't string a fast lap together now
So now my dilemma is , do I prefer Donnington Park or cadwell Park...

Everyone goes through ups and downs. Try and relax, that's my plan anyway.....easier said than done though.

When I tense up trying to find that extra 100ms I just go slower and slower

I've got to keep pushing, I think i hit under 1:14 last night

That's awesome. We were doing 1:14s Friday night before I logged off, so I know you need to be going at pace for that time.

I was in a 31 car race a few nights ago and was fine. That was at dusk with all headlights on.
Didn't check fpsvr, but didn't notice any issues.

Might redo and have a look.

Hah! I'm not in Greboth's class. After weeks of trying I've just managed to reach the time he posted the first (and probably only) time he tried!

I'm milking these next few hours for all it's worth

I've been a good two cars lengths up on my best a couple of times, like you say it's putting it all together.....

There was one lap was miles in front but overshot coming in to the last two turns. I was gutted.

No idea what happened last night, requested pit stop

No fuel

Another lap, went to request pit stop and checked fuel amount, 0 laps, but could I change it, NOPE, requested pit stop to see if they woukd give me fuel and they didn't , so I ran out of fuel

Session settings. There's an option somewhere you need to switch on. You should just be able to pit and get fuel without having to do anything.

What's the general consensus on most realistic VR racing game on the market at the moment?

Steam sale is on and I want to give VR SIM racing a go.

Asseto Corsa Competizione apparently has laser scanned laps for more immersive force feedback which combined with VR sounds pretty sweet.

I guess after trying MSFS in VR that's kind of set my VR realism expectations, so just wanted to ask what the driving version in comparison would be.

There is no right answer as to what's best.

iRacing has the best online multiplayer experience, is one of the best for handling, and probably the easiest to run in VR although doesn't look as nice as AMS2 or a modded AC. It's VERY expensive (subscription based model just to get logged in, then £15 for each car/track you want). You do get some free stuff, but the whole point in paying the subscription is to compete in competitions/series so at some point your wallet is getting hammered.

for something straight out the box, in VR....AMS2 has to be up there as one of the best looking (without mods) as the madness engine is great for VR. The updates a few months ago made the handling really good....so I'd say the £5 is well worth it.

Assetto Corsa with the mods looks insane.

Can't wait for the steering wheel to arrive. First time I'm trying a DD one. Should be good especially with VR.

What happened to Greboth??

The british media were bigging him up, saying this would be five wins out of five. Think the pressure got a bit too much for him and he went to pieces.
Didn't even do any post race interviews.......he just stormed off into his trailer. Nobodys heard from him since.
