USB 3 = 5 Gb/s (including USB 3.1)
USB 3.2 Gen 2 is 10 GB/s

Could I just upgrade the usb 3 board on my pc to USB 3.2 to achieve these speeds or is it a bit more technical than that?

You should be able to replace the card for a USB 3.2 without any great issues.

I wish the USB C port on the Q2 was recessed with a channel for the cable to give support to the cable connector. I just think that when the cable is plugged in it's a little flimsy. I do Velcro the cable to the head strap of course.

USB C is the slot type. If you get a card with only USB A slots, it can still run at the faster speeds but you'll need to get an A to C adaptor.

Sorted, just wondered if there was any difference in speed between the two slot types!

Might have a cheeky upgrade, currently getting around 2.3ps with my onboard usb3s.
