I wish the USB C port on the Q2 was recessed with a channel for the cable to give support to the cable connector. I just think that when the cable is plugged in it's a little flimsy. I do Velcro the cable to the head strap of course.

I'm guessing the speeds quoted refer to both using a usb cable and a usb cable of the card I get has a usb c port on?

Assuming I have a decent quality cable of course.

USB C is the slot type. If you get a card with only USB A slots, it can still run at the faster speeds but you'll need to get an A to C adaptor.

Sorted, just wondered if there was any difference in speed between the two slot types!

Might have a cheeky upgrade, currently getting around 2.3ps with my onboard usb3s.

well thats confusing

i heard about USB 4 already, but changeing the usb 3 names, whats that all about

my new pc has these :

∙∙AMD® X570 Chipset
▪▪3x USB 3.2 Gen 2 10Gbps ports (2 Type-A ports on the
back panel, 1 Type-C internal connector)
▪▪4x USB 3.2 Gen 1 5Gbps ports available through the
internal USB 3.2 Gen 1 5Gbps connectors
▪▪6x USB 2.0 ports (2 Type-A ports on the back panel, 4
ports available through the internal USB 2.0 connectors)
∙∙AMD® Processor
▪▪2x USB 3.2 Gen 2 10Gbps (3rd Gen AMD Ryzen™) or
USB 3.2 Gen 1 5Gbps (2nd Gen AMD Ryzen™/ Ryzen™
with Radeon™ Vega Graphics and 2nd Gen AMD Ryzen™
with Radeon™ Graphics) ports (1x Type-A & 1x Type-C)
on the back panel
▪▪2x USB 3.2 Gen 1 5Gbps Type-A ports on the back
panel

so that 10 Gb/s for USB 3.2 Gen 2 (NOT 20 gb/s as stated in that link)
