It's ok as a demo to show other people, especially if they stand on a real plank. There is no replay value though. It's only scary the first time you try it. It might not even scare you at all.

As said First Steps is pretty much the Oculus tutorial for vr so pretty useful for getting used to vr
Beat Saber is just an essential vr game for anyone getting into vr, especially if you want to show it off to people!
Otherwise it depends what games you're looking for. There are great puzzle games (cubism), escape room style games (I expect you to die 1 + 2), adventure third person style games (Moss) etc. All of these would work well to show off to people as well. Hope that helps

Apparently it allows you to use the passthrough view outside of your set up playspace? Haven't gone in today yet so not checked that out, seems cool though!

They're rarely rated for data transfer but it's worth a try if you've got some handy.

no idea why you want 1 meter, ideally 2m, even if your sitting next to it
You really need 5m for full usage. but you can only get that as expensive fibre-optic cables, like the official Oculus one.
3m is normally the maximum reliable length for a USB3 cable, and that's a bit short unless you're litterally sitting next to your PC while playing VR (i.e. sims). Standing VR is very difficult with less than 4 or 5m cable.

6m. Very nice!.... the one i linked is a little cheaper but so long as yours works ok, the extra 1m length is easily worth the extra £5

hmmmm as i suspected it must be a prime membership perk then as mine has a "apply £15 discount" button next to the buy icon... either that or it is because i have already bought one cable from them. either way, moot point really... having aloso got a reverb G2 with a 6m cable i can definitely say the extra metre helps.
I have this 5meter cable(non booster) and it works perfectly,, but its a bit of a pain to get it out, unwrap it all, when most of the time Im using the q2 at my desk, with the usb socket only 0.5meters away from me.
