Apparently it allows you to use the passthrough view outside of your set up playspace? Haven't gone in today yet so not checked that out, seems cool though!just turned on my headset and it automatically did a download (i assume an update of some kind)
only been off for like 2 hours, so must be recent
Are these phone data c usb cables any good to use with the quest2? I have a 5meter quest compatible cable, but I want a 1meter cable to use sitting at my pc and the 5meter one is a hassle?

You really need 5m for full usage. but you can only get that as expensive fibre-optic cables, like the official Oculus one.no idea why you want 1 meter, ideally 2m, even if your sitting next to it

3m is normally the maximum reliable length for a USB3 cable, and that's a bit short unless you're litterally sitting next to your PC while playing VR (i.e. sims). Standing VR is very difficult with less than 4 or 5m cable.
6m. Very nice!.... the one i linked is a little cheaper but so long as yours works ok, the extra 1m length is easily worth the extra £5
odd, its showing £35.99 on my PC
I have this 5meter cable(non booster) and it works perfectly,, but its a bit of a pain to get it out, unwrap it all, when most of the time Im using the q2 at my desk, with the usb socket only 0.5meters away from me.You really need 5m for full usage. but you can only get that as expensive fibre-optic cables, like the official Oculus one.
