What are you running it on?

5700 XT Nitro+

I've read on r/OculusQuest that some people have had performance issues since the new update, and have needed to use SideQuest to disable some settings to get pre-update performance. I hadn't really tried PCVR before the update, but I might have to try tweaking things and seeing if I can get performance up.

2500 calories on a normal day (non work)
3000 calories on a work day

add 2 hours of beat saber doing 160 bpm
maybe
its on my wrist so it thinks im running i think lol

I use mine exclusively on link and have not needed to charge it since I first charged it out of the box. I don't use it for extended periods though. Maybe a few hours of racing in the evening interspersed with some YouTube or plex.

According to my fitness watch, out of all the games I play, the best sustained cardio game is FitXR (Formerly BoxVR). It's the only one that really gets my heart-rate up. Thrill Of The Fight is the most physically exhausting though.

Playing expert+ on Beat Saber has been shown to help people lose weight.

Anyone have an idea of the minimum throughput/bandwidth needed on WiFi to run Virtual Desktop? I know 5GHz is a must if using WiFi, not sure I can easily get a cable up to the main rig but the WiFi dongle I use for it is ancient.

Could using a power plug to connect your pc to a router help?

Never used them before but worth a consideration if I can't beef up the current WiFi or run a cable. I still want to try the latter and it's an easy run, my only worry is it being a trip hazard as it has to run under and along our bedroom door. A flat Ethernet cable and something to keep it down/flat might do the trick.

I’m using the 3000 TP-links in a new build house and even then the lag is still noticeable compared to Ethernet to router gigabit port. TP-link software showing connection anything from 170mbps to 350mbps I haven't tried to VD it yet but I’m 90% expecting it to be a stuttering mess without going direct with Ethernet.

For 15 quid are they going to be any better than built in.....
Than the quest 2 tubes? absolutely!.

the thing i like about the tubes is the naturality of the sound... because they are off ear its a lot less like wearing earphones but actual sound quality, compared to the CV1 i am coming from is night and day difference. am hoping the G2 will offer a best of both

Quest 2 audio is very good - better than Quest 1. Doesn't compare with the Index or G2 but it's a perfectly acceptable sound solution. The biggest issue is sound leakage, so I have to use headphones when my wife is around otherwise she starts compaining.
