Just ordered the winter version of the new VR cover for the quest 2, £33 shipped. Had the CV1 version and is quite good quality.

Just ordered the standard, as I didn't like the red faceplate. Though the European store works out more expensive, presumably because VAT is added.

Picked up a silicon cover from Amazon on a whim, do not bother with silicon covers! they feel awful!

£33 is a bit expensive. Doesnt feel much wrong with the default cover to me. I will wait till that one wears out.
I've got one on my original Quest and it makes a huge difference.

i dont know how some of you find the stock strap ok on this

Finally pushed the button on a Quest 2, Elite Strap and after much thought an official link cable.
I used third party cables with my Quest 1 before I sold the whole bundle on the the stiffness of them bugged me. I can always return it if I decide it’s too pricy for a cable.
I will definitely get replacement face covers, I had the Kiwi ones for my original Quest and they made a huge difference.
Looking forward to seeing how big an improvement 90hz is and the extra clarity on Alyx and other PCVR games.

Now... where am I going to find 134gb of space to fit it... and how is it best played? Sitting/standing/moving around a play space? What are the controls for motion?
Play standing, feet planted with enough room to swing your arms around, as you'll be wacking lots of enemies using melee weapons or throwing axes and spears at them. The game only supports free movement using the stick - no teleport. Of course you can walk around in the limits of your play area.
Cheers. Sounding like it's going to be a virtual desktop game for me then.

Bon Jovi: Livin on a prayer is fantastic in Beat Saber, as long as you choose the correct one (there are 2) i was dancing and playing at the same time !
the only song so far i can do it with as much as that one, there are a couple of others, but that is the best yet

Just ordered myself a Q2 from OCUK. Was going to wait until Christmas as a self present, but noticed some local stocks with Argos, Curry's etc. ran out so decided to pull the trigger now. Will pick up a headstrap and cable shortly (will look at the accessories threat).
