It's been compatible with the DAS for donkeys . You just need some 3D printed parts to make it attach.Whats intriguing is he says early on "its also compatible with the Vive Audio strap". Didnt know this fit the Quest !
what type are you looking for? Permanently attached, buds or actual headphones.Just recently got myself Quest and the official link cable and it performs and works very nicely.
Can anybody recommend some good headphones for the quest as i am not that impressed by the audio side of things.
Buds will be fine i have seen the official ones for £50 but peeps say you can buy one for £20 which sound just as good.
Just want decent sounding ones.
Just out of interest which L 3.5m jacks did you get ?
Ah ok I've ordered two stereo ones (solder) off the Rainforest arriving tomorrow I cant wait that long for them to come from overseas.

I think I'd still like the option to go "Link" via a 5m(+) cable... So any suggestions of ones that work would be good. Shame PartyLink don't seem to have on out...
Wow! It's hard to discern a 5m+ solution out of all that, that can be had in the UK :/
Yeh, don't think the cable creations is available but ugreen seem to do a similar one.
mismatches should be allowed after fw14 https://uploadvr.com/oculus-link-beta-version-fix/Oculus firmware version needs to match Oculus Desktop Software version (in most cases) for Link to work properly. Often one gets updated days (or weeks) before the other just have to be patient and keep checking.
think we are upto V14 released next (correct me if I`m wrong)
What does everyone use as cable management for the link cable on the headset? I've been getting into Onward via link and having the cable dangling down is killing the immersion
I'll assume no then?

- Passthrough Shortcut - You can now enter Passthrough to see your real world surroundings at any time. Once you’ve enabled the feature, double tap the side of your headset to enter Passthrough. When you're finished, double tap again to return to VR.
Why on earth would you want that when you can buy a shiny new Quest for each person that uses it^ Excellent!
All we need now are multiple accounts/users on the Quest, so game saves/progress/high scores are stored per account/user, and perfect!
Is this out of stock everywhere atm??? Isolation is killing me lol
You can set Github to email you whenever a new release is published just make sure you are signed in and click on the 'eye' icon and choose releases only. The new 1.11.x beta Virtual Desktop update has improved it no end. Lots of little nice touches have been introduced and it runs a lot better than 1.10. More seamless interaction with SteamVR and Oculus Desktop, before sometimes you had to give it a manual kick but now its just so automated. The included menu of your Steam/Oculus games within the Quest display now is a massive plus.
Geez just checked and 1.12.1 is out now with a load more improvements this guy does not stand still !

Is there any more information about next gen coming out? Its nearly been a year now, are we expecting anything in the near future?
True but if they have it ready then may as well release it. Its like phones and GPUs isn't it, better performance for the same money.
This is where me not being a graphics snob really pays off, the experience means more to me.
Plus I never got caught up in the high refresh-rate monitor hype, and still game at 60hz, so the 72hz of the Quest doesn't bother me at all.
Ignorance is bliss
