Sorry flipped it on eBay :( and not for some extortionate amount either.

Couldn't of sold it on here as I don't think profiteering is allowed :confused:

Did collection only, the fella phoned me straight after the sale and as pleased as punch and even commented it was a decent price, he's coming round after work tomorrow.

Got enough to get a Vive and a load of Steam credit :D

Or may just wait until Oculus inevitably does a touch bundle, in no rush as was not even expecting the Rift until end of this month, but due to an ordering **** up it did not work out like that.
 
No problem and glad you got enough for the Vive. I demoed it sunday and its great. The controllers certainly added to the experience greatly.

Unfirtunately I just dont have the space to properly use the Vive (3.5m x 3.5m) Hardly got enough room for the Rift

Not extortionate... "Enough for a vive"?!?! :eek:
 
I think people are utterly bonkers to buy this tech at that price. (£800+) Its the software that makes this and theres bugger all out there. I've tried a ton of stuff and best stuff is probably Elite and Project cars. The Vive games i've seen don't seem to have depth at all. I'm having visions of the nintendo wii all over again. Party games... epic vr fun for 30 minutes.
 
Surfer You forgot about PORN i admit it will get used for that at my place. I plan to do some Tourism tripping in it to ;)

I see gaming as 50% of what i want out of my VR

So you sold your rift for £1200?! And you think that isn't extortionate?!

Like I said, it only looks like they are actually selling for £800-900 on eBay, so unsure how you can say that.
 
No, he means he sold it for around the £700/£800 mark, enough for him to do a straight swap for a Vive.

Another day, another wait to see my card being charged. I am at zen like peace with it, although it would have been nice to have on the weekend since I have friends over.

Yep, that's what I sold it it for, so not greedy.
 
I've just basically given up hope and expect to have to wait till the 12th to get any sort of solid info as to when it will arrive.

If I keep checking it all the time then I'll go crazy lol.
 
I'm just expecting another we are still short on components but we will send u more info in 2 weeks. Maybe another batch of 1-3 week emails will be sent out. But no firm dates on when people will get their rifts :(
