Just put it in the bank. No point spending the money on the car if you don't plan on keeping it long. If you are, then just do the Anti-Roll bars.

Unless something goes horribly wrong and I'm absolutely forced to sell it I'm keeping it for the foreseeable future. I'm convinced that there is a brilliant car underneath there, it just needs a bit of money spending to bring it up to scratch.

The only good thing about that car in my opinion is the engine. However, I haven't driven one or sat in one so I don't know much detail about how it handles/interior. If you do plan on keeping it, then spend money on where it will improve the car for your enjoyment.

I'm in a similar dilemma with the Yaris. I really want to lower it as it has too much body roll. However, I do not want to fork out £150 on Springs to find out lowering it has caused a shock to go or something else, as you never know how a car will adjust to a change.

I really like the entire car. It's something about them that has really gotten underneath my skin. I used to blow through cars at the rate of 1 every 3 months before the Soarer, now I want to improve it rather than chopping it in and buying something else for my money. I do wish I went with a fully loaded V8 with the funky active suspension instead of the basic Turbo one on coil springs that I have, but I had to get the 'turbo nutter' phase of my life out of the way, and this one was in the right colour so I couldn't say no even if I wanted to. When I've got a few quid I'm going to get a V8 and use it as a shopping car because the ride is sublime regardless of what ANYBODY wants to think. I don't think the ride quality of a active soarer is beaten even by £200k Bentleys, it really is something else.

I do want something a little more grown up but at the end of the day, what's the point of getting rid? I'm only going to get pennies for it and I'm going to replace it with something unknown of equal madness because I can't do 'sensible' cars. It's not who I am :),

The thing is that I want to do everything that I've mentioned. Having something that gives me a bit more shove in my seats, stops better, handles better, looks less scruffy and isn't rocking black drug dealer wheels is all going to improve my enjoyment :)

At the end of the day you've just got to go with it. At the end of the day what's £150? Keep the drop sensible and the shocks should be alright :).

I see where you are coming from, but a Bentley is a Bentley. Their ride is just something else. Will need to sit in a V8 some point in my life to compare.

Neither can I. This is why I want some sort of Type-R as my next car, however I chauffer a 65 year old women around which is my Mum. I don't think she would be to fond to sit in red recaros and watch me hit VTEC at every opportunity.

I would like to do the same even though I'm not racking much power, probably 108BHP at the most. But it's something I do enjoy, making my car individual to any other out there. I guess it's just habbit.

£150 is a lot of money. It could be spent elsewhere or saved for a rainy day. I may go for it, because people have said it does improve the Yaris's handling by a lot, and it should have come out like that from the factory. My curiosity may get the best of me.

Yes, let's be happy. ;)

I mised my Sunday morning blast today, did anyone else go out this morning?

1am-3am on a weekday morning is the best time to go for a blast - I've gone two hours without seeing a soul more often than not. Its safer too because you'll see the other drivers headlights round the corner way before you see them.

While I'm on the subject: The best roads to hoon on are roads barely wider than your car, bumpy, twisty and blind. These are more challenging than a fast sweeping A road, quieter and you won't get a ticket because its rare you can break 60mph. Discuss.

My dad finally picked up his 535i GT. It's quite frankly brilliant. Although the TVs in the back could be bigger.

Joshy you got a picture of your car? Im intrigued!

Thank you for being intrigued!

I know, I need to sort out the plates :).

Fox can temp mod this thread cause I am too inebriated for the next 24 hours.

Posting links containing swearies isn't going to help your mod-case!

You need to sort the car...like replace it with something actually good! ;)

What else is going to give me this sort of style, power and luxury for a mere 1k odd? ;)

The only thing I can think that I'd chop it in for without much thought is a XJR but I can't get insured or afford a decent one so I make do.

I'm not going to lie, it is scruffy but its a good car. Honest :).
