Went to view the 306 today. Horrible clicking/ticking noise when the ignition was turned and I new there would be some deisel rumble but that thing was bad!
Reminded me of my freinds old standard deisel clio she had.

It's an 11 year old 2 litre diesel, what exactly were you expecting it to sound like?

Clicking and ticking doesn't sound right though, maybe like a really old tractor but not clicking and ticking

Nothing as bad as it was. It was also quite "violent" in the way deisels judder.
But I am happy to admit I may have had expectations high when expecting how an HDI engine should be.
Driving instructors c3 was never that bad.

Fortunately Ford Mondeo 2.0 petrols don't do any of that. Get one of those instead.

I don't think black like that works unless there is a bar of colour along the bottom lip still to define the shape still.

The front bumper is being painted anyway this week so I doubt it'll cost much extra.

Match it to the trim around the windows, if one is matte and the other gloss it'll look a bit weird imo
