**** me this thread has been on a journey tonight. Starting with people being shorter than me and double my weight (6ft <10stone y0!

), Joshy being depressed about being ZOMG famous, and in the latter parts taking a rather gay turn. A good night all round I take it then!

Meeting up tomorrow and its going to be ****ing epic. Don't think I'm making it in to work on monday already. Doesn't matter, I've did my write up on the job I'm doing on friday. Love my man dave on the front. Got my 4 hours worth of work on something that should take half an hour. Killed friday afternoon off VERY nicely.

Man ****ing hate that job. I should be driving them, not underneth fixing the *****

Thats It. I'm pretty much done for the day. I've got about a pint left of 7.5% cheap nasty cider and it is a 3 litre bottle so you can work that out for me while I get some well deserved sleep

I had a fight today with my caliper bolts - trying to replace the front and rear rotors and pads. Those *&^%s are proper stuck

Currently torn between continuing my efforts tomorrow and just spending a couple hundred of bucks with our local mechanic and be done with it before I strip the heads of the bolts and end up in a world of crap. So far the mechanic option is winning - it may cost a bit more but perhaps paying for the peace of mind of not having your brakes done by a bumbling numpty (i.e. me) is worth it

Are you physically slipping off of the bolt or are you just struggling to get it cracked off? Caliper bolts are done up mega tight so you're going to want to use a decently sized breaker bar with a good 6 sided socket.
