How exactly are we intending this to work? We buy the car and sell it to get our money back, or we offer the bloke whatever we manage to pool together for just the plate and Will Gill has to give us sexual favors to the tune of the money that we've donated, or what?

Thats because it's fitted as standard with the BMW Performance rear diffuser, not the M Sport one. The BMW Perfomance diffuser is colour coded.

The M Sport ones are not and neither were the Sport ones before them on the E39/E46 etc.

The only exception is the E60.

Oh and maybe stuff like the X5 but I dont care about those

Ah that would explain it, looks so much better colour coded! Shame the M sport doesn't have that.

A mod made a really poor decision, was laughed at a lot, and I am guessing that and a few other things have been cleaned up since then.

Not necessarily, you can hard delete or soft delete in vB and only soft deletions will leave any trace of the post visible to members.

Hard deletions are completely invisible once they've taken place, if you never knew the post was there to start with, you wouldn't have a clue.
