***Offical Dead Rising 2 Thread***

New retailer, taking orders for a lot of hot pre-orders (inc. Halo which shipped ok).

Website wasn't fully launched so they took orders via PayPal. Now their account is suspended for 6 months whilst PayPal audit it :/

Refunds on the way however.

Been a successful ebay shop up until now as well from what I can gather :(

Still indecided on whether to get this tomorrow. Enjoyed the first one and also enjoyed Case Zero but neither were great games IMO. Hmm decisions....

ffs was waiting for mine to be shipped (PC) it said dispatched yesterday/today and now the website is saying October first :/

Well ive overwritten the saves and i dont have enough time to finish some case, so its impossible to do now. Think i will give up and sell this.
Great game but to hard and awkward.

That's the whole point of the save/time system - you cannot do every case in a single sitting. It is what the hardcore kids couldn't understand about DR1 so they slagged it off. You should stick to it, one lost case isn't all that and if it's your daughter related, then start over again as your character levels over anyway.

You've got to prioritise what cases you do and make sacrifices. For example I saved Chad (old geezer with the shottie) but haven't the time to save his daughter who is lost in the mall.

Dead Rising had one slot only, and that made the game real hard as you had to plan and prioritise cases on every single gaming session. None of this quick saving every 5mins lark. It was done on purpose by Capcom.

On another note, flipping hell the zombies are fast! Even the daylight zombies can be a pain. Case Zero day/night zombies were well slow. I like!

You'd be surprised, I managed multiple play throughs of Dr1, you will also complete other missions you weren't able to first time round.
